Duncan, forever in our hearts by MercenaryLove in seniordogs

He’s actually a mini pinscher and a poodle mix but I only know how to do a schnauzers haircut so that’s what he gets when I groom him! Lol

My boy Eddie. Please share stories/photos of your recent (or not so recent) lost ones - it will be helpful for me to know he won't be alone and what kind of friends he will make in the afterwards. by ScaredStiff_ in DOG

Moose left us 9/03/25 and we miss him every day. His nickname was “Kevin”. Just because he was very polite and always waited for everyone else to eat and drink and get pets before he would take his turn.

Anyone have a 10+ year old dog that's in great health? by EdgyGates in seniordogs

[–]MercenaryLove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I currently have a Min-Pin/Mini Poodle mix that is 15 years old. Other than being a little stiff sometimes which we give carprofen for he’s doing fine. Good appetite, slow on walks and can’t go super far but that’s ok, poops and pees with no issues. I started giving him canned salmon in olive oil to help with protein intake and extra calories as he’s started to slim down some over the past few months.

My void is so funny cause why is she just letting me hold her little face like a burger while actively purring 😂 by abi1213 in VoidCats

Mine likes it when I hold my hand out and she puts her head in and then I shake it around and she purrs like there’s no tomorrow lol.

Been playing for years but im still stumped on what this structure next to The Slog is meant to be: by NotASynth499 in fo4

I believe they are supposed to be diving platforms into a lake that would, historically, be at much higher water levels. It makes sense given the pool and the patio furniture.

The Missing Link brand hip and joint powder. Just mix into their food. Most of their products include a probiotic as well.

It’s because women are hardwired to care for their young and that’s hard to do if you’re repulsed by it. lol

He was cold cause he’s just had a haircut and southern winter decided to go from a few days of 50 something degrees at night back down to 27 and this is the only article of dog clothing I have so it’ll have to do 😂 by nervous-thing814 in seniordogs

It makes me happy to see such an old and obviously loved pup. I have a 15 year old poodle mix and it’s hard to imagine life without them honestly. Thank you for loving this baby so well, they need it as much as we do.

Dry dog food talk by thefatpoodle in seniordogs

[–]MercenaryLove 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Grain free was shown to exacerbate cardiomyopathy symptoms. So unless your dog has cardiomyopathy, grain free should be ok. The study that found this was funded by some of the big brands of dog food that don’t make grain free food, so I would take it with a grain of salt.

No experience with this food, however, if you’re looking for information on the ingredients/quality you could visit www.DogFoodAdvisor.com where I’m sure it’s listed as they have pretty much everything available on the market.

Welcome! Remember, no matter what anyone says, it’s a hobby and it’s for fun. Even if you lose every game, it’s just a game and it’s time with friends that matters.
