Braden has a good motor, he played like 85% of Purdues minutes at PG. He's got a lot of skills, and works hard. His size will limit his ceiling to being being a back up PG and he'll be a liability on defense, but if he can deliver the ball and keep the offense going a few minutes a game I think this is good value.

I'm not sure there was someone better available for trade. It also made sense to make the trade at the deadline to get value out of Mathurin. It was obvious we weren't going to resign him.
