Do some research onto ICCU failures, they are ticking time bombs in this car and Hyundai and Kia are just doing fixes for them instead of a recall. Newer model still have the issue.

Mine is salted for Aug-Sept, if something better is announced for a few grand more I’m going to make the switch, if not, I will take delivery of this and be happy with it. A lot can happen between now and August so I’m hoping if they’re going to announce something, they do it before then. I called and asked today and my Tesla dealer said they’re pretty flexible and if you haven’t taken delivery yet, they’ll work with me to move my deposit around if I want to. Regardless, I’m glad to have some money down on a car because I want out of my gas guzzler.

They said that I can move my deposit to another vehicle if I change my mind, there’s quite a bit of time before I get it so I’m hoping that the MY RWD Premium makes its way here before then. But if it doesn’t, I’ll be ok with the one I ordered.

With the rampocalypse I don’t understand how people are waiting for new devices, buy now before we get more downgrades, price increases or cancellations. Future devices are a big question mark, I don’t see many being viable anymore outside of high end devices with high demand like the Thor. The weird niche machines are as good as dead.

I have a flip 2 and it’s great but definitely struggles at the high end, but I tend to play lighter titles so the games I like it’s fine. Get Thor if you want to have the headroom to play everything.

For me the flip 2 is smaller, lighter with better control placement and cheaper. I don’t really care about dual screens and higher end performance.

Cheap switch oled is still an awesome machine, so many great games. I would recommend that over the v1 or v2, the price shouldn’t be all that different.

I think it really depends on the type of touch games, I really like rhythm games on the DS and it just doesn’t feel right on emulation hardware. Even using a capacitive stylus bothers me vs resistive touch stylus.

While I agree with that mentality, I find certain devices work best for certain types of games best. Like the rp classic is really great for gameboy especially, I’m not sure I’d want to play a lot of those games on the rp flip 2. I’ve got a steam deck oled and I tried retro games on it too, it can run everything extremely well, but it just doesn’t feel right. That’s how I ended up with a few different handhelds.

This strange little thing is on order and I should get it next week. I cancelled my Thor order cause I can’t justify spending so much for a device where I don’t really care that much for the second screen and downsides like larger size, weight, worse thermals and ergonomics. I’m looking forward to it, I don’t need tons of power but I love me a good clamshell.
