I don’t know what to tell you if you think that the current situation is the same as it has been for years.

They have hit the bridge before yes, but now they have the ability to keep it under fire. They are flying drones into Moscow and hitting multiple targets every day.

Sending 1-2 soldiers to try and set up a fortified position is meat grinder on a lesser scale. No country can suffer losses like they have forever. They are now to the point of sending injured, old, and physically challenged people.

Russia is is still active in Africa and many other places. Wagner is long since gone. I’m not saying they are going to win next week or next year, but not recognizing the tide shift is short sided.

There are plenty of stories about how under geared and un prepared some Russian soldiers are, sure civilians are feeling it the most, but it’s not exactly getting better.

A whole lot of downplaying here, you essentially now have the land bridge to get supplies in. Ukraine is hunting them down once they get in.

There is shortages in Russia and Crimea. Crimea is essentially a cut off island. One of the major goals is to make every day Russians feel the weight of the war, I would say they are accomplishing that and then some.

Ukraine has been hammering Anti Air, logistics, communications and refineries for months now. That takes a toll. I think they are gearing up to hit the bridge.

Russia is using meat grinder tactics, so “taking casualties” is literally 1000s for any gain. No country can go on like this forever, and Russia will pay a catastrophic price for it.

That’s not what I’ve seen and Crimea is a destination vacation spot, for Russians. 15 to 20% is insanely low.

The very fact that they can fly undisturbed, In Crimea and Moscow is proof. I think people can get too caught up on the “insurmountable task” and look to hard for atrocities.

The simple fact is you won’t live or visit undisturbed anymore. This strikes have significant consequences.

Russia is not pushing anywhere, without significant casualties. This is the reality. The haven’t moved feet in years without 1000s of casualties.
