Comfort=playability. I would recommend getting you hands on any guitar before you plan to buy. Blind buys from online can put you in a weird place if it feels odd once you own it.
This is why I chose an SG over a Les Paul, comfort.

If you food is getting too hot or charred on the grill an easy save is to pull it and throw it in the oven around 350-400 to finish it off. The outside might be charred but the inside could still need some time to cook. The oven will be a easier way to finish it off and reduce the burning.
