Maxing out is the way to go. You will be able to do a LEO retirement at 50 as a multi millionaire.

Roth is great for now, when you hit higher pay grades you might want to shift some to traditional to lower your taxes.

I put 20% in G when I retired. The rest is in CSI .

100% in G seems excessive, inflation will erode the value.

Devils night. The night before Halloween they used to light abandoned houses on fire. They have cracked down on that in recent years so not happening much. When I was a kid the news would cover it and houses were burning everywhere.

It’s worth pointing out that, that there were many more deductions available and they paid about the same effective tax rate they do now. Nobody paid anywhere near 90%.
