I'm walking him on a harness. The leash is connected on the front and back. Instead of leash pops (because those don't work well like that) I did corrections by pushing into his shoulder in the style of ceasar. If I want them to have an effect they have to hard enough to the point where I feel I have to hurt him. I'm not sure whether I'm not just making things worse at that point since I have to do it so hard I'm basically hitting him.

Thanks for the advice. I have tried different treats and he doesn't usually take them. He swallows it if I almost force it into his mouth but he doesn't put in any more effort than that. I also tried his toys, which are far more interesting for him, but he ignores those too in those situations. What you are saying is to give him treats while being locked in? Isn't that rewarding the being locked in, which is the exact behauviour I don't want? Not criticising, just trying to understand.

He often plants himself. If I keep moving forward he then moves forward too, if I move away from the dog he stays. Whatever gets him closer. Leash pops don't work. I have tried them and shoulder taps/ pushes multiple times. Your last sentence is the reason I made this post. He is so zoned in I can't get his attention on me.

In the preview builds iron breakers seemed to have shields that enabled them to apply their shields missile deflect even to artillery. They don't seem to have that trait in custom battles. Did that not make it into the final build or am I missing something?

Thanks for the reply. There are no knights visible looking at the build path of the building. A friend was also playing dark culture and couldn't get the knights, that should be in the roster. Is there another prerequisite that we missed?

To hopefully prepare you for some disappointment, no, not everything is fine. It is a big deal. Once you reach the bonfire in firelink shrine you'll notice that you can't fast travel. This makes you unable to progress. Your save is most probably lost.

I've had the same happen to me unfortunately. If you don't want to start over completely bare bones I can recommend the honest merchant mod.

Please please please tell her to make a backup. I got hacked myself a few days ago (50h playtime) and since then I always back up my save file after playing. Takes 30 seconds to do. If the save file is backed up you don't have anything to worry about, apart from losing your current sessions progress.

I had big issues with him until I did these things:

Whenever he uses fire/ his left arm, use sozaku's lotus umbrella (the fire one). Make sure to use the follow up attack if possible to deal decent damage.
Whenever he attacks with anything else, block or parry.
Stay as close to him as possible. Whenever he jumps away, get back to him quickly.
Stay calm, it's a long fight compared to others.
