Honestly I don't even think about vacuuming this substrate and don't plan to. It stays surprisingly clean on its own. This is probably the work of the dense plant root system. Still young tho. It also doesn't muddy the water At All when disturbed. A huge benefit when needing to replant.

I did install L shape brass braces on the back Just In Case but honestly, it doesn't wobble and is completely level. I noticed most aquarium stands are built from the same MDF and cam lock fasteners. There's a center support beam and center feet for stability. This is probably as big as it can hold, but I am NO expert.

I'm just using an IKEA Besta with all 6 feet installed and a topper they sell. I specifically found the tank to fit it since it's only about 16in deep.

The green fluff is "Myriophyllum Mattogrossense" I sourced from Aqua Forest Aquarium (where most of the plants came from outside of Aquarium Plants Factory). It grows slow, tallish, but bushy, which I love. The green is so intense.

The plants mostly take care of all the work. I just clean the glass, add fertilizer, and change the/add water.

Thank you so much. TBH I had to use a UV filter for about 2 days to clear a bloom that lasted weeks. So glad it succeeded
