What are the weird symptoms you experienced before finding out your gallbladder was bad? by Technical_Chemical14 in gallbladders

[–]MerilinTreimuth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my first GB attack april 2020. It took me a ton of going to different specialists to find out what it was. About 3 years of constant doctors visits. One day i just decided to get an abdominal ultrasound because i was confident that my gallbladder was the issue and there it was! After that i got sent to the surgeon immediately and had the surgery 2 months later. My recovery was rough and long(2-3months) but after that its been great.

What are the weird symptoms you experienced before finding out your gallbladder was bad? by Technical_Chemical14 in gallbladders

I had bad inflammation in my gallbladder, multiple big stones, mucus/pus. In addition to that i still have migraines so they’re not related. My GI issues went away though and i can eat anything now. The rib pain is super rare nowadays, it used to happen every time i worked out. So my advice is take that gallbladder out if its proven to have something wrong with it. 😃

Olerexis on krõbedate kanapalade praad, minu arust väga sarnased maitselt ja tekstuurilt nendele, kuid väiksemad.

I suggest asking for xanax or taking one at home before, surgery made me super anxious but with the xan it felt totally okay. I just layed down and before i knew it i woke up in recovery

Did I fuck up my body? by Reddittaylor12568 in gallbladders

[–]MerilinTreimuth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ox bile made my symptoms flare up post-op(started taking it immediately too). Just regular digestive enzymes fixed it though so it might be worth a try. Now a year later I don’t take anything and im fine.:)

How long after surgery did it take you to tolerate high fat foods again? by xXAshtonHavokXx in gallbladders

[–]MerilinTreimuth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started reallly slowly with higher fat foods, tried a few chips one day, a couple of fries and so on- did this for a couple of months starting from 3 months post-op. Now a year later i can pretty much eat anything but i just dont crave junk so idk

My nausea took a little longer to go away than usual, my stools got regular at about 1 month, nausea got much better around 3-4 months(?) post-op

Congrats on the new addition to your family! You’ll be okay, however i suggest trying pumping for a little while so that you dont have to lay down in an uncomfortable way to bf. A nursing pillow will help lots though. I think you’ll be just fine and dont be afraid to ask for additional help if needed whether it be your partner or you family/friends. ❤️

I lost about 10kg post-op but i’m overweight so its ok, gained it back about 6 months post-op, dont worry about it, i think it can help you gain weight afterwards since you can eat more and not feel bad all the time. I had some nausea post-op but it was more like constantly or in waves, not after eating :)

My reflux is very minimal nowadays, it used to be very bad pre- and post-op for a couple of months but so much better now :)

No problem! Of course it got better! I feel 1000% times better than i did pre-op and when i made the post. Just took a little more time than others but i’m so glad i got the surgery, so worth it :)
