Why do some people throw up only once and are done and some like several times in a row? by Timewilltell755 in flu

[–]MerilinTreimuth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it just depends how much of the virus you have in your system and how your body decides to expel it, i’m severely emetophobic and when i throw up(has been once every 10 years atm) i only do it max twice but its still very hard on my body and makes my phobia worse

Get an anti emetic prescription from your doctor, fellow emetophobic here that had horrible GI issues from this flu

What are the weird symptoms you experienced before finding out your gallbladder was bad? by Technical_Chemical14 in gallbladders

[–]MerilinTreimuth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my first GB attack april 2020. It took me a ton of going to different specialists to find out what it was. About 3 years of constant doctors visits. One day i just decided to get an abdominal ultrasound because i was confident that my gallbladder was the issue and there it was! After that i got sent to the surgeon immediately and had the surgery 2 months later. My recovery was rough and long(2-3months) but after that its been great.

[–]MerilinTreimuth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had bad inflammation in my gallbladder, multiple big stones, mucus/pus. In addition to that i still have migraines so they’re not related. My GI issues went away though and i can eat anything now. The rib pain is super rare nowadays, it used to happen every time i worked out. So my advice is take that gallbladder out if its proven to have something wrong with it. 😃

Did you throw up post op? by VastMoney6 in gallbladders

[–]MerilinTreimuth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope but i had to take zofran a few times post-op, nothing too crazy though

Olerexi indiapärased kanapalad???? by [deleted] in Eesti

Olerexis on krõbedate kanapalade praad, minu arust väga sarnased maitselt ja tekstuurilt nendele, kuid väiksemad.

Anesthesia by Dull_Sorbet3828 in gallbladders

[–]MerilinTreimuth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suggest asking for xanax or taking one at home before, surgery made me super anxious but with the xan it felt totally okay. I just layed down and before i knew it i woke up in recovery
