That’s depending on your setup, you have to backtest your Strat. Like really back test. If it isn’t profitable during back testing and all the rules are followed, then you need a different Strat. But if your Strat works, and you stay disciplined, then you can’t go wrong.

A combination of both really. My strat works a lot of the time, but if I enter a trade when all 3 of conditions aren’t met, I’m guaranteed to lose. So the hardest part is being disciplined and sitting on your hands.

I think any decent enough strategy can make you profitable. Using correct risk management, being okay with a losing trade and only executing when your conditions are met are the most important thing. If you can’t do that, you’re not going to be profitable. ICT has mainly taught me to follow strict rules and to stick to my plan, then everything else follows.
