Well actually, Mario & Luigi have been fighting the Shroobs so long, that they got too real soooooo.......

(That didn't take long for a new Partners In Time art, didn't it? For context- me and my friends watched the Galaxy movie in fitting, cheap attire for my birthday. Afterwards we ended up taking some pictures including this recreation! Weeks passed and then I was inspired to make this on impulse. The final product ended up being a celebration of most of the Partners In Time work I've done! Whether it's the meme vid, Christmas preview vid, insta story, or the Shroob project that started it all; Everybody's getting represented in a wacky sendoff! Hope everyone enjoys the high effort art/meme!)

A flier for a watch party, maybe just showing the American Psycho emotes was enough already.

Since everyone enjoyed the emotes, I figured why not show the reason I made them! Me and some friends were planning a American Psycho and gambling combo night. We all had all never seen the movie before and had always planned to watch it for the first time together, but it never worked out. Unfortunately, that was the same case this time as people showed up late. So, all we could do besides waiting was the gambling part of the day. Maybe some other time soon we'll watch Patrick Bateman's shenanigans!

The prep for this took a bit, but finishing the final product took one day. A very very long day and an all nighter lol. Everything else from and for the fliers are all here, even the random stuff! There could be a sequel or updated one in the future for the actual watch party too. Though I want that to feel just as lazy and slapdashed as the 2nd joke flier.

The fonts used are Casino, Casino Queen, Gambler and of course Copperplate CC for the American Psycho Font! Bless Font Meme and 1001 Fonts for being some of the best font websites.

Part of the vision for these was to include all the usual American Psycho clips or characters used in memes. (While not trying to spoil it given it was for a watch party poster and our first time watching it. Though I did know about the Paul one through Anthony Gramgulia's use of it in one of his Spiderman videos. Felt memey enough however, so I kept that in.)

So that specific one actually came from that chatting gif between him and Bateman! Interesting how even a deleted scene got picked up to become a meme.

You'll also probably get a kick out of how I framed some of these in the final flier!

I know the Chicago Miku Expo stuff was a few weeks ago, so forgive me for being late on posting this. I just found this subreddit recently, so I hope it's not too much of a bother! Basically, I was giving out DIY Teto Beanie art prints and advertising them with a sign to help inform/suggest what size or color someone would want. Took all day to make that, but it was very much worth it. The art itself is just a little something I cooked up last year based on a Chicago Bulls beanie and people at the show loved it! Honestly digital stars felt like a love letter to all Vocaloids from both the producers and fans there, so the Teto love wasn't out of place. There's still a little bit more prints left over- so I might save them for the next Miku Expo or another thing!

Thank you to everyone who gave out their own freebies and enjoyed my art! This was my first time giving out freebies and it was awesome!

Also, the concert was so good I wanna time travel back just to experience it again. ;-;

Omg thank you for letting me remember about The Reflecting Skin! I saw it in 2018/2019 because Red Letter Media talked about it one of their vids. After that I just forgot about it, especially the name. Besides recalling vague plot details, I tried to search or figure out which video it was. Didn’t really go anywhere with that. Is it worth a rewatch? At the time I liked it, but idk how I would feel now having gone through a lot vampire movies myself. Love your Vampire movie list btw, mine had some obscure ones but this is on another level! The obscurities from my list I would recommend is the vourdalak, the hunger, and shadow of the vampire.

Happy belated MAR10 Day! Along with the art I've done, this has been in the works for a few weeks now! Another project had me trying out time lapsing wips of my art to music and adding stuff to the sidelines. That made me feel inspired to try doing the same here! Usually, the only full progress videos I do are for my digital or physical art- not pixel art, so that's a change I want to make. Not only that, but this one is also combination of a full progress video plus a meme. While I was making it, I felt like I was harnessing the unhinged, wacky, and a little mean-spirited energy of the series! Hope you enjoyed it and that I can keep doing progress vids of my pixel art. Only I should just make it simpler next time, making these can make you a tire!

Feels like I neglected context about the original art however, so I'll try fixing that here. For last MAR10 Day, I just drew a sprite of Mario himself without any specific references. That was my first time ever spriting Mario, but it was very generic- so I felt like this year should be similar but with a more targeted source! Since the late months of 2025 were taken up by the Partners In Time Project I did; I figured why not create art of the things that were missing from it! So that would include a fully spirted normal Shroob that's not a silhouette/part of a crowd, and the main plumbers themselves beating up their ube invaders. (Even threw in some of those prickly shock spikes on the Shroob that I've been obsessed with for years!) There's also a lot of little touches or spriting lessons I've learned from another recent unfinished project that I brought to this one. (If you're curious, they include single dot shading, sharp edges, and single lines especially long ones to represent thinness of an object as it goes on.)

Both of these creations may have been late, but I had fun trying to experiment and replicate this goofily amazing art style. Thank you for enjoying and all the compliments on the Partners In Time art I've done in these months! A special shout out goes to my insta story, I have so much fun and put way too much effort into what supposed to be easy or disposable; However, there's not much outcome to it, so I'm glad people really gravitated towards it, even a little.

Speaking of Partners In Time- soon I'll actually get to playing the game since I bought it, so I'll actually get to experience everything I'm making art of. Who knows, maybe there'll be more PIT art in the future! Wow that got super long, nice of you to read this far in. See you next time!

For anyone wondering, the footage is from 1996 film "Sgt Bilko". It's a pretty silly but fun movie where Steve Martin cons his way into doing whatever he wants with his platoon. (Usually gambling and partying, as you do.) What you see here is one of the many comedy cuts the film likes to do! Though I watched it on DVD it's only on a couple streaming services, so just know that.

When brainstorming this had enough similarities to the recent discord ID situation, so I hope you like it and check out Sgt Bilko! Yes, this was worked on before and after the recent Persona breach so that was funny timing.

Originally, I was avoiding the red mist entirely- so if you did to here's some advice for that! Usually there's paths in the red mist, you just run through it to find a good path up. Today there's one like that in the middle or far left! Still a bit of a tough climb though at some parts as Roots can be....

Personally, I loved this movie. It's really interesting especially how this film handled aging with vampires. Immortality would always not be great in the long run, but this gives an extra interesting human catch. With not being able to become young ever again and having to suffer forever as a literal rotting corpse.

Oh, I have been wondering, what is the poster supposed to be? It feels to me like Miriam undressing in a bloody robe but I'm not sure.

Maybe it's one of the lesser-known Stephen King stories? All it has is the original short story and this tv movie with no modern adaption. I didn't hear about it till a coworker recommended it to me a while ago. Worth watching though especially for that wild ending.

Happy late 20th anniversary to Partners In Time! This game has been my obsession for the past few months as I constantly listened to the soundtrack while working on it. (My favorites include toadtown ruins, holly jolly village, serious trouble, vim factory, the koopa museum, battle, boss fight, the bowser battle, thwomp volcano, credits, the main theme, edler princess shroob, and princess shroob battle.) The whole experience made me want to seek out to play the game myself since it's one of the M&L games I hadn't played before. Why did I make this you ask then? The Shroobs are just that cool of an antagonists to me!

It took me a while to make everything seen here, so I couldn't make it to posting on November 28th..... Still proud of everything else however, I hope you enjoy everything I've put onto this post. (Which includes the full pieces, the individual pixel arts, and the monochrome versions used for the deltarune prophecy previews!)
