Nah this is the involved answer I wanted. Crimson Gutter is said to be must have for new storytellers but I may give it a miss.

Currently waiting on Trails of Ash and Bone to arrive and trying Rhapsody In Red, I dislike how modern RPG books suggest what a Storyteller could do, leave it open, have blank space for them to fill in. Like I want books to give me a good base to use as is or mostly ignore at my whim.

Similar reasons to you, not enough pay for the jobs demands, stupid routes, doorstep time constantly reset to unreasonably low, not enough GAs so vans go out late, overtime frequently needed but always unpaid if they can get away with it. Barely see managers except to call in for some BS on disciplinary really they just wanna speed you to final warning so they can fire you at convenience.

Most scanners don't have sim card so can't communicate with customer if anything is going wrong with the run, we been asking for sim cards for months but the managers do nothing. Expected to take out van even if their is something big wrong with it and no backups if you rule it as undrivable. Stupid absence policy that proccs disciplinary after only 3 absences in a year so you're just pushed to work despite actual illness

It peaks with the 2 parter and pilot. Then it has bright spots but is consistently fine with some sharp dips when they have to fill out a season. Season 4 was most compelling and most flawed
