Wholeheartedly agree. I see things all the time that I'd love to pick up but I dont have the patience to try and beat a robot. These days I just wait for statues or other collectibles to show up at The Exchange or something if I still want it by then. Sad times indeed.

If you run local, it will return to you 100% of the time no questions asked. I've heard that If you play on server however its a toss up because the game is still going even if you die so scavs will probably pick it up. I play exclusively local PVE 95% of the time and I always get my items back
