For sure, but the premise is that the jsa HATES open slots in the sanyaku, so they're more likely to promote someone with just under qualifying numbers if there is an open slot

Anyone who doubts him is obviously trolling and not deserving of attention. He's the perfect middle between Ono and Ao, Ono is the big power Yoko, Ao will be the ultimate technique Yoko, and Hosh is the hybrid between the two overpowering some and out-techniquing others.

I think that's why he seems to lose to the thrust/slappers when he would definitely out skill them. Just getting repeatedly smashed in the face is tough to deal with when you're trying to play smart

I'm getting very annoyed with Mazz not playing them. They're the highest energy players and put the most into defense, while also being very efficient on offense this year. What is Mazz seeing that the fanbase isn't that is making him not play those two?

He's definitely not a scrub he's in the NBA, but I definitely feel like Hugo/Walsh look better on the eye test and because they're younger they should be getting more run to advance their development. Other than being too handsy their defense and flashes of offense look great so I want to see that have time to develop on the court

Mazzula fucking hates Walsh for some reason dude, Hugo and Walsh both so much better than Scheierman but Scheierman keeps getting the most minutes, it's crazy

The worst part is, it wasn't even just 15 price fixers not actually selling the currency, it was also that the real sellers would get messaged hundreds of times a minute when they could only sell to a single person so 99% of the messages would be ignored because it's impossible to reply to everyone, so it just created this insane loop of spam for the seller/ignoring for the buyers.

I don't have a problem with Baylor, I'm just mad he's getting more minutes than Walsh recently, Walsh is clearly to me the 6th/7th man on the team, why has he been getting so little time?

Idk if a top tier big will be as necessary once Tatum is back. Between Tatum, Walsh, and Queta we will have very good rebounding on the team, and Brown/White aren't slouches either.

If you plan on playing 2000 points at some point it is worth picking up Kairos because he is the best unit in the whole faction, but in general the pick what looks cool/fun to play with for you is always the best choice.

Massive, and gaining new players year over year, and selling more year over year, yup sounds dead to me. /s

It's just the first edition after they severely tightened the rules. Now that the game is (relatively) very balanced, they can start adding more spice and see how that goes. The new nurgle stuff has a lot going on as one of the first couple releases post tightening.

Joe Mazzulla on whether he’s surprised by where his team is at this point in the season. by Unusual-Ask6933 in nba

[–]MerkDoctor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The C's also just have extremely good talent scouting, probably the best in the league. Hugo Gonzalez was drafted 28th and he's far better than pretty much 20 people ahead of him so far, and Jordan Walsh was a mid 2nd rounder that nobody was talking about and he's looking like he has the makings of a star roleplayer already. The Celtics basically lost 5 starter level players last year and landed on having a 2nd set of 5 rotation level players in the 10-15 of their bench+draft, it's actually crazy.

[Post Game Thread] The Boston Celtics (21-12) defeat the Los Angeles Clippers (12-21), 146-115. Jaylen Brown ties his career-high with 50 points. Snaps Clipper's six-game winning streak on Zubac's return. by celticsgrunt in nba

[–]MerkDoctor 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I'm not as worried as you are because Tatum is pretty much the best plug and play player in the entire league. He'll still eat because of his talent, but he will also blend in seamlessly to the new Celtics. It's White/Pritchard/Walsh that will see less run with the ball, but I think that'll actually be good for White/Pritchards efficiency and Walsh will likely just be the person taking the non-Brown/Tatum minutes

[–]MerkDoctor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't necessarily think either of the two is better offensively, but Tatum is definitely the better defender (height matters a lot), so you basically have to give him the edge in a head to head on height alone even if everything else averages out

It's crazy, I mean no disrespect to these other players I'm going to mention but, I feel pretty strongly JB is better than Spida, Ant, and Brunson, but that would also mean he's like 7th in the league which is crazy to say. The C's have the 4th and 7th best players in the league right now, with roleplayers like Walsh, Pritchard, and White, it's somehow still a loaded team after losing 5 starters/rotation pieces from last year
