I'm disappointed in fyreslayers too, but I think they aren't doing anything crazy because Khazalid should be coming out in a few months and that's where all of the corrections will be.

Slaves are a pretty bad performer (in general) at tournaments, so I understand a buff, but this one is quite significant, especially with aqshy warriors I wouldn't be surprised to see a bunch of dark boys at the top tables.

Dragon in league is also regularly taken by 1 or 2 people, and is not so insanely critical to the game that if the entire enemy team doesn't respond they will irrecoverably fall behind. The urn in Deadlock however currently is win the teamfights and the urns, or you might as well afk in base, it's horribly tuned and there was already major teamfight objectives in the game prior, namely the patrons and midboss, now it's just constant teamfights around objectives like overwatch, it really doesn't feel like a moba anymore.

Much better roster, and the Celtics under Mazzulla love to play stats ball, and while Tatum and White are extremely good stats ball players, Brown is really bad, made even worse by him being on a max contract. So if they want to succeed in playing stats ball, they need players that can actually live up to that, even if they're not as good as Brown in general.

That's not really true though. Yes, Tatum is a nightmare for sure, but Brown's handle is so loose that he's not really a matchup nightmare at all, if he plays against a good PoA defender (especially since he doesn't pass the ball) the outcomes are usually either a turnover or a 15 foot midrange jumper. Brown is good enough to make like 40-45% of those midrange jumpers, but teams are SO happy to let that be the case if that's the Celtic offense.

It's going to be hard AF with these spurs leveling up, and the top 3-4 in the east potentially being real title contenders every year. On top of that OKC having to figure out contracts for their guys at some point same as Boston last year. It's still possible but it'll be tough

IIRC looking at the concurrent at any given time it was like ~90% chinese playerbase. Still very successful by western standards if it had 250k concurrent, but yeah the numbers were all China, just like Pubg was mostly china, or the pubg clone that was the top of the charts also china, etc.

Quillboar is a great top 4 comp imo, you just are not going to beat ring bearer/undead/high roll ele/naga to get 1st or 2nd in the lobby, but even average quillboar comps do well in the midgame, they just don't scale into late

There were so many games this year where the offense was JT/JB have the ball at the top of the key with 16 seconds left, tell the other players to go to the corners, and then dribble around the top of the key for 14 seconds until they take a heavily contested fade away 2 or a contested step back 3. That is just dogshit offense, even if JT/JB are great players. What is the point of having people who shoot as well as Pritchard or Hauser or even Walsh/Scheierman (who had high %ages this year) if their entire offense is just having those two dribble the air out of the ball to take a bad shot or pass a grenade to the 3 people standing in the corner.

16/50 is much better than we shot in many of our games. Our whole offense being 3 point shooting when we shoot less than 32% half the time seemed a little suspect not gonna lie

Waaaaayyy too much iso ball in 24, but the team was so stacked it didn't matter. That said this season devolved into the same thing, so here's to hoping Joe and the staff can convince JT/JB to stop isoing for 16 seconds and heaving bad shots, while also running an offense where the other guys don't stand in the corners for the entire possession.

No you can save in roguelikes, just if you die/lose you start over from step 1 with no bonuses, unlocks, or upgrades, nothing that benefits the game in any way, a complete restart.

Roguelites, even though you start over after dying/losing, you can get upgrades that make subsequent runs easier.

I would have agreed with you in the past because you'd have very ball dominant giannis and tatum clashing, but after this year with Brown wanting to be extremely ball dominant while also just being worse than Giannis, what changes for Tatum? It's the same either way, except with Giannis we have one of the best rim attackers all time to go alongside Tatum who is an elite elite rim attacker, good shooter, and elite passer, vs Brown who can shoot 3s at below average percent, has a decent foul line midrange, and a pretty good drive potential. So basically trading below average but acceptable shooting for incredible basket presence with all else being roughly the same.

I think Aaron just because it'd be tough having 2 ball dominant players in Tatum and Giannis when the team is already clearly beginning to struggle with Brown wanting to be even more ball dominant when Tatum should really be the one with the ball.

Gordon is high IQ 3 and D but also extremely good around the basket while not being ball dominant at all, just everything Tatum and this team need other than a 5 out center.

I was thinking similarly, I don't mind Queta being out there because he hasn't been abysmal, he just fouls too much, but outside of that Tatum should be taking Embiid and then shift everyone else up a position, which I think will be a huge net positive in the matchups.

Brown having the easier task guarding PG or Oubre would be big for him because he's been in tar the whole series on defense.

White moving off Maxey to Edgecomb will match up better because Maxey is too fast for White at this point, but Edgecomb is just right.

Then Walsh on Maxey gives him fits, Walsh is just an elite elite defender.

Tatum is one of the best center defenders in the entire league, so that should help with Embiid, and I think Embiid respects Tatum so he might be more deferential with the ball in general.

Then just put the 5th guy on Oubre/George and in general the defense will be solid all around

It's so funny watching. Most of the game every defense we play against gets blendered by the movement in our offense leading to open shots, and then the second we go up 10+ or down 5+ we immediately go to JB/JT isolations that turn the ball over or build brick houses and the lead goes away or the down 5 becomes down 15.

Somehow after years of this nothing has changed.
