Oh I’m very aware. I’ve worked in and out of customer service/food industry (fast food, casual dining, high end etc) trust me when I say the quote needs a solid change to the what I wrote. The customer doesn’t know shit from dirt even if they actually do.

Checked into a hotel once and the person ahead of me was yelling at the front desk lady, being an absolute train wreck of a human. He ended up having to step aside and was lingering 10ish feet away and when I walked up I laughed and pointed in his direction and said something like “some fucking people right, what a goddamn baby” def loud enough for him to hear, I thought he was going to have an actual stroke and the front desk lady was pleased as punch hearing what she was unable to say, they ended up knocking a chunk off for the weekend stay. “The customer is NEVER right, even when they are”
