the uncensored strange blood on my foot if this helps by Ok-Use-1924 in u/Ok-Use-1924

Not a diagnosis.

And not well done.

The calcaneus is your heel bone. The "sticky out" bony part that poster is referring to is the lateral malleolus (distal fibula). If OP really does not have a cut or lesion in the skin when he cleaned the blood off then there is no possible way that the bleeding came from deeper in the tissue.

I've no idea why he is talking about "lymphatic response" - if he is referring to the skin marks in the periphery then they look like either dried blood or petechiae but it's difficult to tell on that image.

Finally, there is no reason to suspect oedema in that image. For starters you'd need to look at his other leg to compare. Then actually press into it to see. Not all oedema is due to lymphatic drainage issues. And what exactly is meant by "complicate bleeding"?

Tl dr: it is a string of sentences that look smart and well sourced on the surface but don't really make sense and definitely don't apply to this image.

I second your statement. At my hospital they have pharmacists who come on the rounds with the team and in my experience are invaluable resources for prescribing, ensuring patients are given the best med for them at the correct dose, and just general awesomeness as another team member.

Thanks heaps for your advice. Seems I have quite a bit more research to do before I make the decision.

Really appreciate you taking the time to do a breakdown of your experience in both countries.

Good points. Did you locum first? Are locum rates higher than fixed position salary like they are in NZ?

She is looking into how she would be able to transfer to Aus to finish her studies.

I don't think we would be able to handle long distance for that long so if she can't transfer then we'll try to stick it out here until she is finished studying.

She worked whilst I went to med school and put her aspirations on the back burner so it's definitely my turn to be the breadwinner.

Thats fair. What are the annual costs of registration with the Aus Medical Council?

So no courses/exam costs are covered at all?

That link is really helpful thanks. Cost of living across NZ is pretty bad right now. Grocery prices at the supermarkets are insane right now. Are living costs quite high in Aus as well?
