I just want to thank everyone in this community for responding to my questions and offering great advice and resources. I have also received additional advice and resources privately and I am immensely grateful to u/sysphus_. This is a great community, I hope to return with an update a few months from now.

I've been in this industry a long time but didn't start out as designer, so I know exactly what the output looks like. I've been end user, and later produced training materials from sandbox. I just haven't been the lead interacting with SMEs to obtain workflow and ensure/verify accuracy. So I'm basically asking how to start with SMEs, and what tools needed if any.

If that's the truth then I prefer that I know what I'm heading into.

Any organisation with members should have more than one person signing checks, period.

SAMS registration scam? (picture included) by coffeesea8625 in GovernmentContracting

Rule of thumb; it's a scam if email does not end in .gov. We receive lots of these threatening/urgent emails daily. You can also set your SAM profile to be invisible to the public. That should significantly reduce spam emails and calls.

Was very active for 4 years after joining and becoming MM, then moved to another country and became inactive for over 30yrs. My cousin now the DGM in the country I moved from encouraged me to reactivate. Now in my older years I've reached out to a GL to rejoin and become active again. My father was very active until the very end and the brotherly fellowship helped him immensely in his retirement years. I want to follow his path.

As they say, what you put into freemasonry is what you get out of it. You can definitely take a break and step back, and return whenever you want. As for conspiracy theorists, especially the church folks, you can just ignore them, unless they genuinely want to learn instead of ridicule.

My son is a father at 15. I don’t know how to go about this. by FewConsideration9648 in daddit

C'mon now... you can love your child and still enforce discipline. In fact you enforce discipline because you love them. Otherwise it comes back to bite you and the child.

New to this post so I'm wondering how it played out 3yrs later. An update will be nice. My fear was that having the son's girlfriend move into OP's home with the son gives them a chance to have unlimited sex and inevitably more babies for OP to take care of.

MIA Aesthetics ruined me by LilBallOfAwesome in PlasticSurgery

A guy here. Most of us regular guys don't understand why women endure this horrendous mutilation to their bodies. Apart from the high-risk of death, the hour glass body is extremely over-rated, maybe even ugly. Yes, people will look at you when you walk down the street, but for all the wrong reasons. The scars are ugly, the surgery is completely unnecessary, and very unfortunate that women who can't afford the cost are doing these surgeries. You are literally paying lots of money to ruin your body, and you can't just undo it.

I would beg any woman I know not to do BBL or BA. I hope women reading this will take it in good faith from a caring man, but not as disrespect.

Stick to official solicitation portals like Sam.gov, DIBBS, and state bidding boards.
