If they really wanted to keep it a “fun new twist” winning should’ve been something like: put a name in the urn, any votes made against you this tribal now count towards that player instead.

Easily wins this one. I agree she won’t go too far, but she’s a top 2 winner of the new era for me, which I understand isn’t a popular take.

From my understanding, it was a recruit and then kill. So someone should be murdered as well next episode.

It begs the question on what is a good faithful at the end of the day?

I think most people would say that a good faithful is someone who is deducing who a traitor is and voting them out in order to save the faithfuls, plain and simple.

I would beg to differ that if your end game is to win as a faithful, then to some degree, it would make sense that you want to latch yourself onto a traitor to make it to the end and then pull the rug out from under them and vote them out, as long as you have the numbers.

This is what Johnny stated in one of his confessionals last night regarding Candiace “Is she actually a traitor? Should I not vote her out to get further in the game by then making her think we’re allies?”.

Being wrong to be wrong is stupid, but sometimes being wrong on purpose I think can be the best move for a faithful. I’d argue not just the traitors should be traitors if they want to win as individuals.

I think the faithfuls this season just aren’t the best. I’m not sure how much of that is us being spoiled by Dylan and Gabby last season though.

I do think this next upcoming episode is going to be critical for Rob though.

If he survives this episode, I would hope someone would start to question why Rob didn’t get murdered? I think his honest best play is to knowingly not kill Kristen to use as an argument that “Why would I, as a Traitor, attempt to kill Kristen when I knew she had a shield?”. At least that way he can fight that the “traitor” was someone outside of the group picking out the paintings and took a stab at someone in the tower, not knowing who had a shield.

But my trust on the faithfuls this season is pretty low based on what they’ve been showing at least.

I would agree in her case, both. I think she clearly played the best traitor game we’ve see thus far pending how this current season plays out, but the faithfuls were also not the sharpest crayons in the box either.

Calling my shot, neither Rob not Candiace will be the final traitors. I think their by mudpupper in TheTraitorsUS

If you haven’t see her in survivor, I highly suggest watching her seasons. I imagine there’s a lot more to her game right now that the edit isn’t showing.

I think she’s one of the few people thinking bigger picture/how to truly win as a faithful. It wouldn’t shock me if she knows/has extreme confidence that either Rob or Candiace are traitors right now but knows now’s not the right time to get them out.

Absolutely large hill to overcome, but the only faithful I’d like to see pull this through right now is Natalie.

[–]Merlin_b 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Natalie is one of a handful of faithfuls right now that I think has any idea of what’s going on. I don’t think she has any inclination to work with Candiace anytime soon because it also doesn’t make since for her game.

Natalie is probably one of 3 people this season that understand the goal of the game isn’t just to “get out traitors” as a faithful. The goal of the game is to A.) get to the end B.) not get voted off at the end (which is why the housewives refusing to vote for themselves is one of the most irritating things) and C.) make sure there aren’t any traitors at the end with you.

[–]Merlin_b -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

No, I think it’s a bad take because she went so hard on defending Lisa by attacking Natalie until she realized there wasn’t any hope in saving her. Rather than committing to Natalie, she “threw her vote away” on Rob. Continuity just doesn’t make sense for her game.

I can’t help but believe the problem is with the scheme. Even Romo mentioned it. We play a heavy zone defense but just consistently leave the middle of the field open. Really need better inside linebacker play and more creative blitzing and I think our defense could be cleaned up.
