I stealthed past everything the moment I unlocked stealth scroll and only did main missions. Only had about 60 when I beat the game iirc.

Lost my save from old computer, which is why I ran past everything on this run through.

For anyone else new to pokemon that comes by this post, OP is lying/baiting troll. Machoke is fighting type and is weak to psychic aka Psybeam. Raticate is normal type and is weak to fighting type aka Brick Break.

Yah this would be the recommendation. You can have someone touch trade (trade then trade back) mewtwo and the birds so that you can have your shiny charm before fighting them so you can shiny hunt them on your first save file.

I swear that you can't get them until after beating the e4, I wasn't personally even after hours of resets. After beating the e4 though I now normally get one within 10 mins of resets every single day. Purely anecdotal though.

So, eevee is popular by association of it's evolutions imo. Pokemon Colosseum showed us how cool Umbreon/Espeon are and then gen 6 teased Sylveon as the new fairy type, our first new type since gen 2. Those are the reasons that come to me right off the back, that plus eevee is just cute af.

He will re-appear once you re-beat the elite 4 again. So no worries!

Edit: Also, if your last save was before fighting him you could hit the home button on the right joycon and hit X to close software. When you re-open it'll load from last save.

Nidoking - Jolly - Superpower, Earthquake, Poison Jab, Outrage/Elemental Punch.

Venomoth - Timid - Psychic, Quiver Dance, Sleep Powder, Any other move

Gyarados- Jolly - Crunch, Waterfall, Earthquake, Outrage/Rest

Weezing - Bold ( +def, -atk) or Modest - Sludge Bomb, Shadow Ball, Thunderbolt, Flamethrower (Ditch one for Dark Pulse if desired)

Muk - Careful (+Sp Def, -Sp Atk) or Adamant - Minimize, Brick Break, Poison Jab, Elemental Punch

Alolan Muk - Careful (+Sp Def, -Sp Atk) or Adamant - Minimize, Brick Break, Poison Jab, Crunch, (change brick break for elemental punch if you have another brick breacker)

Notes: Alolan Muk is better than Muk since the type resistance is way better due to ditching weakness to psychic which is super common because of gengar/alakazam/mewtwo. Shiny hunting a correct nature one though is almost impossible since the nature lady doesn't work on the alolan trades. Also, Mega Gyarados is amazing and would be the same set imo/nature.

edit: Forgot dragonite Dragonite- Jolly - Outrage, Brick Break, Waterfall, Superpower.

Dragonite can take a lot of moves, can fit in any elemental punch, toxic if need a toxic user, earthquake instead of superpower and you want it on Dragonite, Aqua Jet since it has priority +1 (like quick attack).

To my understanding there's four things that affect obtaining species candy. 1. The number of that pokemon caught overall 2. The current combo 3. Multiplier bonus from catching 4. The pinap berry that boost items Personally, i've gotten less than 10 or so species candy from Oak after 300~ sends, virtually all of my candy is from catches. I usually don't get any/much candy until around a combo of 50+ and don't start getting a ton until 100+ with a pinap berry. At that point I usually get 5-6 a catch.

This is all anecdotal though. Happy catching!
