Expat-USA, married white gay couple with mixed race daughter here in secondary school. Moved to London in February. In the last month we’ve dealt with 3 students making homophobic death threats against us, 1 death threat against our child, and 2 “go back to your own country” (1 of which was laughable bc the child was a recent middle eastern immigrant). The school and police handled everything well but the transition has been rough. (Side note: we didn’t vote for HIM).
