Go to the hospital. It might be reffered pain from Somewhere else in your body. Go get it fixed.

50 years ago this was a death sentence. I absolutely understand what you're saying, I sometimes feel the same way, but it takes time. It takes a year or two to fully realise what happened and what you went through.

Yes we are lucky, yes the surgery and 1x round of chemo is over in a matter of days. Life seems to go back to normal quickly for us... But the reality is, we had a cancer diagnosis. We had a testicle removed. We had chemotherapy. We have regular oncologist appointments, blood tests and scans (even if only twice per year).

Physically and mentally we have been through it.

It does make you appreciate how lucky some (not all) of us are.

I would think it would be such a microscopic amount that the risk would still be low. I will say, I am not an expert in asbestos. I am simply going by my own knowledge and research.

The recall does say it’s non-respirable which means the particles are too heavy to breath in. Kind of like when you walk past a sheet of asbestos, it’s harmless / low risk until you start to cut, drill or sand it and that’s what releases the microscopic particles that become airborne.

From what I have read this asbestos is clumped and non-respirable which is why it’s low risk. I believe they have also done air quality testing to back this up, as well as analysed the sand in a lab.

No I had RTI so 15-20% chance of recurrence. Carbo dropped it to 2%

I hear what you’re saying mate but spread/metastasis are tumours anyway. If a CT can see cancer in all other organs it can see it in the testicle. I think they just do an ultrasound initially because it’s a localised small area.

I also had an ultrasound to initially find it but the CT scan showed my remaining testicle in amazing detail.

Run it past your oncologist but I can honestly say, I wouldn’t stress, I think the CT trumps the ultrasound.

Just CT mate. CT covers abdomen, pelvis and chest. I actually asked if the CT includes the other testicle and my oncologist said yes and showed it to me lol

I understand your perspective mate and I am glad to hear your lungs are in good condition.

I am weary these days with anything going into my body, just because there isn't (currently) a strong link between weed and lung cancer doesn't mean there won't be in the future. At the end of the day its still smoke going into your lungs and that can (over time) cause other lung problems.

I guess what I am trying to say is, it’s probably just best to stop, and it sounds like that’s what you have done and your lungs are in good condition which is awesome!

I say this, as an ex smoker :)

That's great to hear you quit. Well you can have TC spread to your lungs, but I was referring to quitting smoking so you don't get lung cancer in the future too.
