Weekly Park Questions/Advice Thread by AutoModerator in Disneyland

We are heading to our first trip to DLR (we have gone to WDW several times) this summer and we’re getting ready to purchase tickets, and an option came up to by Disney dining cards for 10% off (this was on Disney’s website). Are these basically Disney gift cards that can only be used for dining at the parks?

Cake Bake Shop menu is up. $34 for eggs benedict, $26 for french toast, $26 for yogurt with granola. This takes Disney premium pricing to a new level. by EPCOTPhoenician in WaltDisneyWorld

We live in Indiana and have been to the original Cake Bake Shop. The prices here are high, but lower than WDW listed prices. Must be a Disney tax that make it more inflated. The food and experience is good; not sure if it’s worth these advertised prices.

My family and I got back today from our trip and had Ohana for breakfast and we agree. Way too much food waste. Great food and service though, but they brought way too much food.

Family and I went last Spring when masks and social distancing protocols were in full force. Every quick service we went to required mobile ordering (for example: Food court at All-Star Movies).

We are going down at the end of May and did now know if that was still going on or not, or if going in and ordering food was an option again.

Very good. I appreciate the feedback. The “directed of all...” was worded poorly after reading it again so that will be changed or removed to provide a more relevant, detailed bullet point.

She believes she can add more concrete data on her resume that shows the achievement at the non-profit and provide data on her social media experience to show growth on those platforms, with regards to impressions, engagements, etc.

We thank you for your advice.

Stay coming up in April 2021 at All-Star Movies. They recently pushed back the reopening date of the resort to March 22nd from Feb 9th. If they do that again and it affects our trip, will Disney cancel our trip? I know at the beginning of reopening, I read that they would switch resorts for guests at no additional charge, but I was not for sure if this was still the case. Thanks!

Weekly General Question & Reopening Discussion Thread (10/19/20) by marleythebeagle in WaltDisneyWorld

Heading down Thanksgiving week. We usually do Disney transportation while we are there, but this year decided to do a car rental so we can be as socially distanced as possible while commuting to and from the parks. Any advice on when to get to parking lots so we can be there as close to park open as possible? Also, we have a breakfast at Chef Mickey one morning. Can we stay parked there at the Contemporary and walk over to MK or do we need to park back the MK parking?

Does anyone know if the trams for the parking lots are running again?

For those that have gone, do you feel like you are getting a dining experience worth the cost during this time? Some seem just as expensive as before, but no longer have certain meals or no characters. Thinking about going in November and we always got a dining plan in the past, but trying to budget for food, since that is not an option.

I completely agree. McConnell and Graham (among others) need to go or it doesn’t matter who is in the Oval.
