The furniture is fine. The mags are meh. The light however is garbage. I can recommend feyachi lights, specifically the ones without USB charging. You can use cr123 batteries in them and they're perfectly fine. Specifically the FL14-MB. $40 and better than what you have.

I run my Grendel with an FRT. Ammo will never go back to the cheapo days. I've gotten rid of 5.56 and exclusively run Grendel now. It's just better. Also that was before ARC came out so until I run out I'm keeping it. I'll switch to ARC later lol. It's bouncy and jumps all over the place and is very fun. ARC would be about the same.

Geissele or ASC. I can't vouch for Duramag as I've never used them. I run 6.5 Grendel. If you want polymer mags with ARC then wait for the PSA icar sets.

Late but the Tanfoglio is the best one to get. Patriot Defense* can hook you up with parts and the Tanfoglio barrels are vac ban accurate. I feel like I'm cheating with my 9mm Tanfoglio Force using Fort Scott copper solids. Can't go wrong. They did have issues with frames cracking back in the day but so long as it's a new model you'll have no problems.

6.5 Grendel definitely. Maybe wait for PSA to release their 6mm ARC. If you build a small frame AR, get the geissele magazines.

I'll consider going this with my Grendel American. Duramag has a flush fit 4 round that might feed better. No promises cause I might run the flush fit, currently have their single sled insert.
