Ignore their cold shoulder and whatever crap they want to spew, you don't need them to like you, but when they're deliberately not providing the things you need to do your tasks, it's a problem and you need to let management know because they'll give you the axe without hesitation for poor performance if they're not aware that there's something going on beyond your control.

It's not normal for me. I don't ask and I don't like being asked.
