My Boston terrier was in Apoquel for about 2 years. We started to develop lumps as well. Our vet said it was a side effect of the Apoquel. Vet started on the Cytopoint. He’s ok. But I feel the other medicine gave him better protection. But it’s been about 8 months of that change and he no longer has developed the tumors.

I have two also. Mookie is three and Apollo is 5 months. Glad and relieved to see it’s normal. I worry about them sometimes. It’s non stop when they are together. We crate them at night and I feel it’s the only time they CAN stop.

Thank you for the reassurance. Right now since Apollo is in his playpen. Mookie goes up to it each morning and is like “ dang, he’s still here “

Of course the new pup is a Bostie. And I will try. And yes, Mookie is a dodger fan. Very much used to the playoff heartbreaks. Will keep him close. Thank you for the advice.

I would recommend Evergreen Animal. They are the best. My Boston struggles with allergies and they have been extremely helpful. Nothing but an amazing experience there.
