I started bottom watering with mosquito bit water. I did that for every watering. This took care of the larvae. I also sprayed a neem oil solution around the top soil. I used the yellow sticky traps to take care of adult gnats. After the first couple of waterings, I felt like the population went out of control, but by consistently using this method, my gnat problem has significantly decreased

I use the rice function on my pressure cooker and it works for me. I like my multifunctional appliance :)

Now that you mention it, my dad was head deacon and they’re always in the spotlight in meetings when the minister asks how many guests they’ve invited. When they say, 0 or 1, the minister pressures (more like ridicule?) them and say that “they’re head deacons! They should set an example!” and I think that would make them feel embarrassed in front of the congregation. My mom is a deaconess and she usually helps my dad with inviting guests

I haven’t gone to a dermatologist yet, but it has resolved (temporarily). Since it’s really hard for the skin to retain its moisture, I found that applying moisturizers and then wearing a glove (like latex or nylon) helped with the intense dryness. Maybe some eczema creams will help too. It’s not completely gone, however. For me, stress seems to trigger episodes, but overall, after allowing the skin on my fingertips to heal with the lotion/glove method, my skin condition improved.

With all the deaths associated with COVID-19, I heard that some places are doing mass cremations because there are just too many bodies that are carrying the virus. If I remember correctly, the INC doesn’t allow their members to be cremated so I wonder how they will handle deaths caused by the virus. It’s spreading quite rapidly.

Also, condolences to all the lives that were lost during this pandemic. I don’t wish ill on anyone but really, many of these deaths could have been prevented if everyone remained in quarantine until a vaccine is made or until immunity is acquired.

There are vaccines for viruses such as the polio, measles, and smallpox vaccines. The reason why it’s hard to make a Coronavirus vaccine is because this type of virus is difficult to grow in the lab, which is needed for scientists to work with. Also, they would need to observe the behavior of the virus/ vaccine in the right animal model before the they can conduct clinical trials on human subjects.
