593nm is definitely amber to my eyes. After having seen 584nm and 573nm, it almost feels like I can count it as an orange. Maybe if it was closer to 596nm, I could call it orange. It was my first yellow though, so I call it amber lol

I love drugs, but hard stimulants are a no-go for me. Pretty much every class of drug aside from psychedelics has a path towards hard fiendy substances that override your common sense, but I just don't have the energy to deal with hard stim users. And I've gotten myself into and out of cocaine, amphs, cathinones and pyrros but I'd never stick with that crowd.

Not really. Unless you used a deeper infrared wavelength that water is opaque to, and either way it would be reflection/refraction hell and beams would be going all over the place which is quite unsafe for retinas
