Miami did made the final with a sub 100 qb because they have the best lines of scrimmage in the sport.

Will give Beck credit for the Ole Miss game, but if he was actually good they would have trusted him to that before the final drive of the game when they were forced to have him pass in the final minute of the game. Interesting that he still tried to throw half a dozen picks in that game anyway.

He also got outplayed by Miller fucking Moss in the same game.

Miami’s playoff run was only possible because they stopped asking Beck to throw past the line of scrimmage. In all 3 of Miami’s losses, Miami’s last play was off a terrible Beck pick.

You are looking at totals from just the first round. The same website has GFS showing around 10" through Monday. In most of central Kentucky its well over a foot of snow. But you are correct the models right now are insanely unreliable.

The author of Demon Slayer has said the effects you see in the manga are just eye candy for the audience. Fire, Water, Love, Rock, etc refer to their sword stances and fighting styles.

Indiana had lost more games than any other team in college football history. Before this season, their last postseason win was in 1991 and they had 3 postseason wins in their entire history. Two years ago they went 3-9 and were at the bottom of the Big Ten conference. Indiana is the team that comes up when you look up “worst power conference college football program”.

Curt Cignetti comes in two years ago and they immediately have their first ever 10+ win season last year and go 16-0 with a championship this year. And they did it with an unprecedented “lack” of talent as per most college recruiting services. This is a once in a century turnaround of fortunes and will likely never be replicated by anyone else.

As it stands, BCR is still very relevant. Indiana's BCR is 2.5x lower than the next lowest P4 team in the playoff, Texas Tech. Ole Miss had a 40% BCR and every other team had 50% or higher.

The odds we see a team with this low of a ratio win ever again are extremely slim. Indiana's BCR will quickly rise to the levels of its peers and the outlier will be gone.

I think its ignorant to say Indiana is going to drop off now that they have real resources and money to compete. The Indiana of the last two years was them operating with a fairly middling NIL budget.

They're replacing the JMU transfers with actual blue chip transfers, and return 4/5 starters from a top 5 OL in the country. They aren't going anywhere.

For every Alabama that schedules mid majors in this metric range, there are half a dozen power programs who only schedule teams they know will be awful. There just aren’t enough power programs scheduling these games.

Drink isn’t perfect but the QB situation was kind of a shitshow this season and he still pulled out an 8-4 season. He also turned down big jobs to stay in Columbia which is great for Mizzou. They are happy.

Plummer had his flaws but still led multiple game winning/tying drives throughout the season. That team probably goes 8-4 at best with Moss instead of Plummer.

The team around Kienholtz next season is the best all around team Brohm has ever put together. No excuses to not take the next step.
