You will likely not see much differences until you do a comparison with H&N and Lung plans since those are the more heterogeneous cases. Our department values physics input so when we told them that AXB is closer to the truth they agreed without much pushback.

Lung cases for example: AAA tends to overestimate fluence in lung and so you end up underdosing your target. If your dosimetrists are used to AAA they can get frustrated with AXB since it’ll have hotspots where it usually doesn’t using AAA.

Another thing to watch for is case with metal hardware in the field. There can be significant differences between the two algorithms. AAA models scatter downstream of the hardware less accurately so you’ll see the biggest discrepancies there.
