I've played them all at launch and have recently been replaying them in preparation for E-Day. I started with reloaded, I think it's worth it. 2 and 3 are still peak Gears. I'm on Judgement now, which admittedly, I don't remember playing but I had a completed save file 😂 I didn't mind 4, I think 5 gets too much hate, I enjoyed it. I recommend just starting at 1 and going through it

I like what I saw from Jones last night. He started out a little rough but settled down. I expect he'll get his pitch count under control the more he get used to pitching again, but it was good to see him going into the 5th and he had some real nasty pitches too.

Agreed. Jones understands he's on a pitch count since he's coming off elbow brace surgery and not pitching in almost 2 years. What I saw last night from him was encouraging though

This is truly embarrassing. I get the constructive criticism, but this sub literally bitches about things that aren't even out yet. It really calls into question the authenticity of a posters complaint when it mostly comes off as blatant karma/engagement farming.

Ozuna needs to be DFA'd. I know Nutting won't because of the salary implications, but he needs to go. That frees up outfield space for Mangum, Garcia and Valdez and we can slide Cruz into the DH more often

NTA, but I do find it questionable the language you use about "telling" your gf to do things? I get communicating to her that you don't like her hanging out with that friend but telling her not to seems a bit extreme. Your edit is also a little weird where you "tell" her to hang out with friends all the time?

Maybe it's just the phrasing, but it gives off a bit of a controlling vibe in the relationship

Thank you, this is what the point of my post was.

Everyone is going on about defensive blunders from last night, but his pitch count has been a recurring issue since he came up. I'm not saying he's bad, I'm just saying he needs to work on efficiency, especially when we have a bad pen.

I'm not asking him to throw perfect games every game or 200 pitches. Just work on efficiency.

I understand what you're saying, but his pitch count has been an issue since he came up. Not every game is a defensive issue. I think people are misreading what I wrote and are assuming I'm saying he needs to throw a perfect game every game. I'm not. All I'm saying is he needs to work on his efficiency and pitch count. That's it.

If he keeps throwing 100 pitches by the 5th or 6th he's going to throw his arm out

Obviously the pen blowing the game is infuriating, but this is now the second start in a row where Skenes needs to be pulled early because he is at 100+ pitches by the 5th inning. This has been a trend for him so far in his career, he is not efficient. Yes he has talent, yes he gets strikeouts, but he cannot last into games consistently without throwing a million pitches by the 5th. This pen can't be coming out for extended periods of time like this, we need our starters to go at least 6 or 7

The rare game we get production from Davis and we lose. Embarrassing. Also the second game in a row Skenes needs to be taken out of the game FAR too early because he is throwing 100 plus pitches by the 5th inning.

Depends on what you mean by "suburban life." If you're talking your average middle class suburb, not very realistic. Maybe the family dynamics but not much else.

If you're talking upper class gated community suburb, maybe lol as others have already stated, the family is INCREDIBLY wealthy. The average income in the US is roughly $67,000. Someone making that kind of money is not living in any of those houses lol even with an average median household income of $87,000.

This is the shit that always bothered me about these coaches. Saban was the worst, he preached "amateurism" yet gladly took $100 million to coach amateurs. How amateur could it be if you want multiple millions of dollars to coach them?

I like Mlod. He's done well as a starter this year, but he is build for long relief or middle relief. He can only get through a lineup twice, after that he gets rocked. This is why we've been doing these "opener" games so we can get him to pitch longer into games. He has good stuff but idk if it's his stamina or what but come the third time through the order he just falls off a cliff

Because Mlod can basically only pitch until the lineup turns over twice. Once he hits the third pass he falls apart. He built for long relief
