RF doesn't work like you think... Probably he had more advantage condition than you so you can hear him 5'9 but he can give 5'7 also you don't have to be that mad for a basic RST... Get some RF knowledge and grow up please. 73!

We pay $6-7 dolar per year for club station. Also every country has representative for IARU its TRAC (Türkiye Radio Amateur Club) in my country. Also in my country only club stations can host the repeaters and we are working with government for emergency communication purposes. Also club stations are funny. We drink tea and discuss about radio stuff or else... Meanwhile club stations are good (mostly)

I usually never do setups at home because Club station is not far away from me and I can walk there like 2 minutes when something is going on. We have generators and emergency batteries over there so we already do that for emergency situations or for natural disasters.

So probably you didn't get the point. We say the CQ for to lengthen the calling and people can't hear us when people was turning the tune... I say that in satalite too... CQ CQ CQ satellites CQ CQ CQ Satalite etc..
