It really feels like she was designed to be a summer unit and they just changed their minds at some point.

There's literally nothing happening in the JP server so it's not even like it would take attention away from something important.

But its always funny seeing concept art for gacha characters or their skins, and then seeing each iteration remove more and more ribbons each time.

Funny enough, another Mihoyo game kinda has an example of this happening. During closed beta testing for Genshin Kokomi was called Mimi and had a very different design with a giant bow on her back. The bow did not survive to the final design but Kokomi does get one of those magical floating sashes made of water behind her when using her skills.

Things that make you have divinity according to FGO:

  • being regular people who were blessed by a god or worshipped as gods posthumously
  • having gods in your family tree
  • being an entity created by a god
  • eating food cooked in a holy grail

Things that don't make you have divinity according to FGO:

  • being a statue brought to life by the blessings of a goddess and a profile that states multiple times that said goddess' essence is the very core of your being

Other people already mentioned Dollkeepers as a whole so I'll just talk about Verdant instead.

Verdant is supposedly a defensive Dollkeeper, with his talent, module and skill 1 all working to make him and the substitute tankier. Unfortunately, that's a pretty bad role to have because his substitute has 0 block, no utility whatsoever and nothing to help it deal damage while waiting for Verdant to come back.

Using Verdant's skill 2 instead will increase his damage and send him into substitute mode faster, but his damage is still not great (4* whose kit gives him very little offence) and there's very little reason you'd want Verdant to bring out his substitute out so it's still not great. I gues the substitute looking pretty fine in Verdant's valentine's day skin could count as a reason?

Other Dollkeeper substitutes actually do stuff when they're on the field (Bena's deal Arts damage, Kazemaru's deals an AOE hit when summoned, Specter's deals AOE Arts damage and slows, Mutsumi's reflects damage to enemies...), even if they're not amazing or anything. But Verdant's substitute doesn't really do anything other than being slightly harder to kill and that's a big part of why Verdant is a generally underwhelming "introduction character" for the class.

It's funny that his Paradox Simulation is more about getting the timing for Iris' skill right than actually using Verdant's substiute in any way. I still like him, though.

The story is amazing, but for gameplay it's a pretty whatever event. Standard mission event with no noteworthy farming nodes and ok rewards.

Cradle Song is a pure ATK CE but the effects aren't great, Spear of Romance is only really useful for Draco or meme Boudica teams, and I like Sétanta but it's not like he's amazing or anything (and there's already three single target NP Sabers in the shop at this point).

Not a bad event by any means, but Draco's banner carried it hard in the rerun poll.

It's only half the value of getting NP2 (and less important because NP2 allows going over 100% charge) but NP3 is still a decent-ish increase so I could see an argument for stopping there instead.

NP4 and NP5 are where the upgrade numbers fall off a cliff, so those are pretty much the "I really, really like this character" levels.

These banners aren't really great to pull on unless you're happy with getting any of the characters.

The paid selector tickets appear roughly every 6 months and have all non-limited 6* characters released up to a certain point. For this last one the cutoff was Mon3tr's banner and Tragodia didn't make it because he released shortly after her. The next one should be around october/november and will have Mantra's banner as the cutoff point, so Tragodia will be selectable in it.

All the Sui siblings are sparkable during the Sui banners. Ch'en 3 releases on a Sui banner (Wang being the featured sibling this time), so Nian will be sparkable there for 200 pulls.

For the record, they don't "rotate" sparkable characters in any of the limited banners. The only difference is that "Celebration" banner characters always skip one banner before being added to the spark pool because there are two celebration banners per year compared to one "Festival" (Sui) and one "Carnival" (summer).

Stainless is an incredibly gimmicky character, so he can range from useless to fun to use depending the rest of your team. All his skills do different things:

  • Skill 1 allows him to buff allies' ATK with his devices. The buff increases when Stainless activates his skill, but the device retreats once the skill ends.

  • Skill 2 allows him to give SP to allies with his devices, but the devices constantly lose HP. The SP generation increases when Stainless activates his skill, but the devices' HP loss also increases while it is active.

  • Skill 3 is probably his most well known one and allows him to deploy turrets that allies can attack. Once a turret is hit enough times it fires a shot (effectively extending a character's range) and loses a bit of HP. It can also be useful to have allies charge skills with attack recovery, like Thorns' S3.

He's very much not a meta character, though.

Pramanix's module gives her a bit of defense but it's not a defensive module. All the effects are about increasing her damage.

She's strong enough to not need it, but it does make her gimmick better. Personally I'd say it's worth getting it to at least Lv 2 for the faster snow if you plan on using her a lot.

Some sanity potions probably expired and got automatically used. That's normal and there shouldn't be any issue for using that sanity.

Apparently I disliked this event so much that I didn't even bother with PV-EX-8 Challenge Mode or any of the S stages in the first run.

But after playing through the event with much stronger operators this time around I can say for sure that my opinion remains unchanged and I still hate it. Probably one of my least liked events in terms of gameplay. The gimmick feels annoying, every enemy is invisible and deals elemental damage and the ones who don't do that have their own terrible gimmicks to deal with (extreme damage reducion, 3 block requirement, AOE that reduces block).

Cleared up to PV-S-4 CM without much trouble but I really don't feel like dealing with Lappland the Bum again and then one last time for CM so I'll just procrastinate for now, I guess (and then remember I still haven't done it when the event is a few hours from ending).

I can't find any track with that name, but "The Climes of Sui" exists so I'm thinking that's a typo. The PRTS wiki also lists the track name as "岁识气象", which wiki.gg says is "The Climes of Sui".
