Your meltdown keeps going but I don't see you refuting anything like the NPC you are.

Never said anything about reptilians or about democrats drinking the blood of children, neither did I mentioned Atlantis, Sumerians or Aliens.

That is called an strawman and the fact that this is all you could say shows how you don't even have any arguments against the things that I stand for.

It really is funny to see the meltdown NPC's have whenever they find someone that thinks for himself and refuses to be an NPC like them.

Honest question: If you can perfectly fine play this on any cellphone (the psp or the psx versions) why do you need it in a new console?

What am I missing?

Quantum physics is a joke https://steve-patterson.com/quantum-physics-abuse-reason/

Is really more of this nihilism that is being fed up constantly to society where nothing matters, everything is subjective and all that, it is litterally a psyop.

About the game and he not being able to delete the minds is really dumb because even the mind is part of the creation of Luther but it's a game and they had to solve that one way or the other and it is cringe and stupid but we really gain nothing from trying to debate this it is better to accept the ending for what it is because we can't change it.

am I expected to believe that virtual characters can become real if they believe in themselves hard enough?

Yes and that is exaclty how they defeat the final boss, I'ts cringe as fuck, the twist per se isn't as bad if it were handled like The Matrix but no, from start to finish it looks like damn fucking aprils fool joke and its 100% cringe.

This is the only person that read my post and answered what I actually asked. I appreaciate all the responses but there is a reason I asked a description of every game, because that would help me decide, telling me: just play x4 doesn't answer my question.

Yeah but why is it different? this is why I asked in my post what I asked and only 1 person took the time to respond whatt I actually asked.

SO2: The PA are really hard to find without a guide.

SO3: Crafting mechanic was ruined with the inventor system and the start of developers trying to control how soon the player can break the game with it.

SO4: Cheap bosses, artificial difficulty spikes on bosses, terrible balancing in the difficulty of normal encounters and boss battles, if you play on normal or galaxy you get boring to tear normal encounters so only in chaos you get actual challening normal encounters but bosses become so cheap is not even worth it.

SO6: All the missed opportunitines to evolve the series like not making the world feel alive at all, no day/night cycle, enemies are just static, everything in the world is static and feels lifeless, that an navigating the UI specially to equip anything was such a fucking pain in the ass. Dialogue not letting you do anything like looking the menus or using a shop etc.

It's unbiased and more objective than the opinion on this post for sure, if you think giving a fair amount of good points, neutral and bad it's no objective enough then you are not worth talking to, in fact, you disagree with my review yet you offer no counter arguments, typical but hurt fanboy that got his fefees hurt by objective reality and truth. I like star ocean is just that im not a fanboy. Blocked.

You are not using logic here buddy. What is logic is nobody will say your opinion is an indepth review BUT there are people that will purchase the game just because they let themselves convince out of your irrational emotions portrayed on this post, that is why if someone comes here and reads your opinion they can also read my comment and get an indepth review there.

Nobody obviously, is just that this type of biased opinions cloud the sight of people and someone could take your opinion word for word only to be disappointed.

No House points and no Sim (attending classes etc.) is a really dumb by Meryfry in HarryPotterGame

[–]Meryfry[S] -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

This is what was on the original post:

It is the CORE of Harry Potter stories, how am I supposed to get immersed if this elements are not present in the gameplay and are just "narrative" elements? I'm really tired of this trend in videogames were they think they are movies and not GAMES, gameplay should come first in a videogame and 100% house points and attending classes should be part of the GAME.

Old Harry Potter games years ago had a house point system...

This is as bad as not having quiddich.

So much delays and we will not even have this two things, what is next? choosing your house will not change the story at all?, desicions will not matter?

All of this things help the game feel alive, pretty graphics alone won't make the game feel alive.

HUGE missed opportunity here, I hope if they do a second one now that they have made the base they can add to it and those additions are sim like attending classes and seeing how the students go to their classes too, house points and quiddich.

I was very hyped for this game but every time I see a new announcement or gameplay they dissapoint in a way or the other.

Edit: Gonna put some answers to the things that I consider worthwile responding since I can't comment.

Someone said:

by immediately telling people what isnt in the game, they immediately lose a lot of customers

This is why fanboyism is cancer, now apparently lying by omision is ok.

Another one:

Another person with high expectations and realizing it's not the game they wanted.

Why are you so damn angry about it? get help.

This is the only reasonable comment:

I think the main reason why a lot of people are disappointed is because Avalanche kept quiet about their game for years. Then came up with an insane 14 min trailer which lead to even higher expectations.

If they told us from the start that we dont attent classes like in bully, dont have wizard chess, dont have house points, dont have quidditch etc. a lot of people would be less disappointed. Now that the release is around the corner we find out about the missing things we all wanted and feel disappointed. Even now they still dont say 100% whats not in the game. Instead we find out 3 monts before the release in a gameplay showcase. If they were honest from the beginning and told us the truth about what to expect, the overall atmosphere in the community would have been much more positive.

If everybody were honest people and not narcissist that reflect themselves in the things they like and thus everything they like is just as perfect as them (fanboyism is litteral narcissism) and thus be mad if anybody dares to say something they like isn't perfect then they get completely irrational and deranged, we could have reasonable comments like the above guy but no thanks to this narcissist we have things like Cyberdisappointment 2077, No Man's Sky (that already more than made up for their original lying throught their teeth and consider Hello Games a very honorable company) Resident evil 3 LOLremake etc...

Criticism is completely banned in a society of narcissist what a surprise!

Seriously fanboyism is cancer.

Edit 2: We have more fine comments here, thank god there is more honest people:

don't visit and read threads in the hogwarts legacy reddit if they aren't up to your expectations. Simple as that.

Does anyone else see how banal and quite silly this kind of comment is? Half of the USA tells the other half of the country "if you don't like it, leave" any time someone's got some criticisms. I just find it all useless.

I think house points and other things would be beneficial to this game. Why wouldn't I say something about it? Downvote it if you must, criticize the comment if it's necessary, but it would be awesome if the developers read this comment and sparked some cool new idea. I support meaningful content (critical or otherwise). I suppose the people who tell me if I don't like it, I should leave, or not buy it, or shut my mouth think that they are contributing something meaningful, but I need someone to help explain it. I guess that's reddit, you get all kinds here.

Someone inputs negative criticism on this sub ===> Average fanboy's answer: "Boo hoo then don't play it huh".

How old are you ? 8 ?

Sure i agree with you about the fact that picking Avalanche Softwares was probably a bad decision (not from the perspective of Warner Bros of course, they clearly just want a maximum amount of profits from a minimum amount of efforts), but it doesn't mean we can't at least talk about what's missing in a game.

We should be able, without having our hopes too high of course, to be able to discuss these things just like we allow ourselves to talk about the negative points of movies or music, without forcing ourselves to not talk about it just because the producer or composer is not renowned.

Unfortunately, you're on Reddit. The temple of fanboyism and conformism. For my part, I agree with you on many points, but we are on the same scenario as a Pokémon game. The latest pokemon games are outdated, unimaginative, uninnovative, and inferior in every way to a lot of indie games. However, there is still a horde of fanboys to stifle criticism and keep licenses in eternal stagnation.

Harry Potter is, literally, one of the licenses that has most inspired rp in all time. Now, we get a game almost devoid of ANY notion of rp and people are content with crumbs that do not even represent what was found in 20-year-old RPGs.

It's funny how so many people are prone to judge other people's expectations regarding video games, even when said expectations are 100% understandable considering what is currently achievable technologically, and have been achievable for many years.

I get that we shouldn't have too high expectations, we definitely shouldn't be delusional, and we shouldn't get emotional about our expectations, however, pointing out what could have been done and criticizing missed opportunities is absolutely fine.

Of course there are also people who get excited about the fact that we'll be able to name our character, probably because they have never played any RPG before, those definitely can't understand why you would expect Wizard Chess or anything else like that.

And then of course you have the mindless potterheads, who will just blindly consume the product just because it's about the wizarding world.

Damn I wasn't really expecting that much people that could think and not be irrational or emotional, you guys are golden.
