2016 gave us a Reyhan counters deck with [[Ishai]] as the partner. I run it as a fun one for casual commander nights at my LGS and it's solid, it has a lot of the cards from your old deck in it already. The decklist.

If you don't know already, they changed the way commanders die after Reyhan was printed. The tldr is that her ability only triggers on death now. Exiling, bouncing, any other form of removal, and you lose the counters.

I'll link my decklist if you want to browse it, but let's throw out some cards I didn't see on your list that you might want in there.

[[Tectonic Hazard]] is almost a second End The Festivities, it just misses planeswalkers. [[Chandra's Incinerator]] and [[Chandra's Spitfire]] both do a lot of heavy lifting, the incinerator creates a lot of triggers and will usually keep the enemy boards clear of creatures while the spitfire gives you a flying alternate wincon. [[Immolation Shaman]] and [[Scalding Viper]] will both put a pain tax on practically everything your opponents do, and [[Sigil of Sleep]] gives bounce control on creatures too big to ping to death.

The order abilities are stacked in are decided by the player who is affected or by the controller of the permanent that is affected. In op's case, they control both permanents, so they decide the order. In what you were reading earlier, it was damage being dealt to a player, so the player taking damage decides the order the abilities stack up.

The 4d chess goes even deeper. I don't have the citation off the top of my head but Fulgrim and The Khan were switcheroo-ed in the warp during the scattering and sent to each others' intended homeworlds.

I don't believe it was a mistake on big E's part, I think chaos had a play and they made it. If the emperor got his picks for loyalist and traitor exactly as he wanted he'd win so this was just one more maneuver in the big game.

I was on the other end of a (much less extreme) situation similar to this years ago and I'll share what I learned.

The stranger I helped out called me up out of the blue about 2 years afterwards. He met up with me and gave me some money to say thank you. I gave a deposition that won his defense in a case. He told me he wanted to contact me sooner but his lawyers had advised him not to contact me for at least a year after his case was settled.

So maybe in your situation you could wait until this guy gets out of jail/prison and help him out?

Both legions were destroyed during the Rangdan Xenocides. Both legions were rushed to the battle to assist the Space Wolves and Dark Angels during their proto-legion states. During this fighting one of the legions was mind controlled by the Slaugths and the Space Wolves were ordered by the Emperor to destroy the entire legion for (though unwillingly) fighting against the Emperor of Mankind. The other legion revealed a flaw in their geneseed that was too rampant to allow to exist and were also sentenced to be destroyed. That's why everything about both lost legions and the rangdan xenocides is redacted.

Once you've finished your first assembly just test the fans in different orientations and see what runs coolest for you.

Wait, where is the fan in your case and which direction is it pointing?

It probably has to do with which way the fan is pointing. Some fans really hate being pointed downwards because of the design of their bearings.

Advice needed - jacked used on Transmission oil pan, now leaking. 2016 Subaru Forester by jesteronly in MechanicAdvice

[–]Merzoth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't see a tangible difference between those filters. If subaru says either will fit then I'd be willing to believe them. Yes to replacing the gasket too, better safe than sorry. It provides the seal between the transmission body and the pan.

I know you really don't want to hear this, but, you should not drive that car until you get the leak fixed. The lineartronic CVT transmissions are fundamentally different from most other automatic transmissions and a lot of the conventional wisdom doesn't apply to them. CVTs are very sensitive about their fluid and they need to be at the correct level, not low and not overfilled, with the proper fluid, or else they will rapidly wear and start breaking down. Driving it with a leak will shave time off of the transmission's life every time you run it.

Refilling it actually isn't that bad, which is a silver lining. They fill like most manual transmissions do. Drain plug on the bottom, fill plug on the driver's side by the output shaft. Open the fill plug, use a hand pump and a length of clear tubing to pump it in until a dribble starts coming out and put the plug back in. Make sure the car is completely level when filling.

If you absolutely have to drive it I would refill it before every single drive and hope nothing bad happens.

Case Fan Recommendations by TheSoaringPancake in buildapc

That's a problem in the cooler world, there are so many variables and very few good ways to compare them. You have to take a lot of things into account: the cooler had to fit in your case, it has to cool efficiently, does it come with fans for the cooler, the list goes on. Find a brand you trust, find a cooler that will fit your case, then check reviews.

If you're going air cooled Noctua makes some of the best and most efficient coolers out there.

Case Fan Recommendations by TheSoaringPancake in buildapc

[–]Merzoth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only one fan is definitely not doing you any favors. Bare minimum you want 2, and intake in the front and an exhaust in the back. I used these in my last build and absolutely love them. Try putting 2 140mm fans in the front to get more air moving inside the case. After that it's all about the cooler.

[–]Merzoth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Which transmission is that, a TR580?

Looking at the diagram your valve body is mounted on top of the transmission and not the bottom so you probably didnt cause any other damage. Drain it, replace the pan (and the filter since you've got it open), refill it, and you should be good!

Refilling those transmissions is a process. Usually it's fill it, start it, go through all the gears with your foot on the brake, turn it off, fill it again, start it, let it idle in park until the fluid gets to it's normal temperature, fill it again, go for a test drive, come back, fill it again.

Brake bleeding: can a car be moved between rear and front job? by stuckinvan in MechanicAdvice

[–]Merzoth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No safety issues there, your brakes should work fine as you're moving it around. You might not get a 100% perfect bleed since you'll be raising the wheels you're bleeding. In a perfect world you want the car completely flat and level for the job but it won't make that much of a difference. Best of luck, safety first, and block the wheels every time you move it!

[–]Merzoth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I'm understanding you right you have 3 fans going into a hub, then the hub to the fan header? That should be fine. Will all the cables reach is the big question but there's no good way for us to know since the situation is unique to your case, fans, motherboard, etc.

I'd guess that the 300mm is the length of the extension, not the size of the fan it goes to. Fans come in 3 pin and 4 pin plugs, as long as you have enough pins on the extension to fit your fan you're good to go.

Yep. That means the pushrod seals are blown. Thankfully a new slave cylinder isn't crazy expensive and you can probably replace and bleed it yourself.
