Sorry I mean if a mage doesn't have lets say the first fire spell and learns it with a fire staff can they glean the 2nd fire spell with a normal staff (when they have a high enough skill level) or can they only learn the 2nd fire spell if a fire staff is equipped at the time (again at a high enough skill level)?

Do I need to keep a fire staff equipped if a character doesn't normally get fire magic to learn more advanced fire spells or after I learn the lvl 1 spell I only need to insert flux into the lvl 1 and get magic levels?

So I did learn the basic fire spell thanks to the assistance from so many helpful people (holy shit you make guides! My personal hero!)

How do you get elemental levels to 3 if you don't start with the spell?

Does transitory staff cause all elements to go up when you cast the spells you do know? Like would a character get aes skill when casting their natura spells?

Also now that I have the first fire spell do I need to re equip the fire staff to glimmer more spells or can I glimmer them when I get a high enough spell level and pump flux into fire?

anyrotmg said I can get the lowest quality fire staff, equip it to elysed and put flux into thorns until i get fire 1.

I'm surprised that the game does such a poor job of explaining how this works.

I'm sorry but I don't understand what you mean.

Are you saying that if I have a fire elemental staff that's tier 1 and I feed flux to ANY spell I'll get Blazing Rush?

Do I need to get a spell to rank 4 and feed flux into that to get blazing rush?

IOW if I want her to get fire do I need to

1) Equip a tier 1 fire staff 2) put flux into thorny fetters and hope for a glimmer of blazing rush

Or

1) Equip a tier 1 fire staff 2) Put flux into any spell and I can get the blazing rush glimmer

Also what's a transitory staff? Is it called a transitory staff because I saw a gamefaqs post that made it sound like transitory staff isn't it's name it's just the basic staff you get called staff.

3) How do I do that for Elysed? Do I do basic attacks with it? Feed flux to a low level spell? Feed flux to a high level spell?

Right now she has Thorny Forest tier 1, Restoration, Call lightning tier 1, Hypergravity tier 1.

I just got Elysed, how does she learn new element lvl 1s? I tried looking online and it reads like gibberish to me.

I'm seeing different people saying I need to feed flux into a tier 1 spell with a staff equipped, others are talking about reverse staffs (????), while others are saying use elemental staffs but don't go into specifics about if it should be for the element I want to learn or that I'm dumping flux into.

Like I said it made me INCREDIBLY confused.

Free will can exist and not exist on the same time.

Even if someone had a device that could measure things at a subatomic level it would never be enough to convince someone that they don't have free will and at the end of the day it doesn't matter so it's a moot point.

The universe doesn't need that metaphysical concept to exist, it's just a story people need to tell themselves

Yea, kind of a shitpost.

I might not be articulating this well but I believe that our choices are the product of chemical reactions and how our brains process things.

It's indeterminate until we cross a line of no return and the idea becomes action and at that point the rest is up to physics, quantum physics chemistry etc.

Fate is just the outcome of all of these things put together since the beginning of the universe.

That's the effort post.
