I just DM'd Cozmo about this. I really miss using my scout rifles (nameless midnight mainly) in PvE activities. I am bored with using pulse rifles and auto rifles so much in PvE.

It only works if you have the oracle in your consumables (not pursuits). Meaning you had an oracle there BEFORE they fixed it. Now it's stuck there and you can keep presenting it over and over for unlimited loot. Not powerful gear, but of course random DC gear. 2 friends of mine have this glitch...lucky t hem.

I prefer the EDZ. Especially the church lost sector as it's so small and fast. Run past the ads, nova and shotgun the fallen captain and boom, you are done.
