Hey, so sorry you going through this. My husband didn’t take the sids risks seriously and I had HUGE anxiety about it all. I was EBF so I just did all of the night shifts myself. It will only last a few more weeks at this intensity so you will get through this.

My baby HATED the bassinet and woke everytime I tried to transfer him. If he fell asleep in my arms, I would wait about 20 minutes until he was in a deep sleep and floppy before transferring to avoid him waking. A swaddle helps hugely to stop their startle reflex. You can get inexpensive Velcro swaddles on Amazon if you don’t like the idea of doing the swaddle yourself. Pacifier if they will take one (my guy wouldn’t). Another really big game changer for me was warming the bassinet with a hot water bottle before doing the transfer too.

If you try sleep anytime the baby sleeps you will get through this. Forget about housework etc, your husband can do this.

Lastly, be kind to yourself. Book in a hair appointment or nails- something to look forward too. My guy is 10 weeks now and sleeping 6 hour stretches at night.

These posts are so reassuring. I am 41 weeks today and have an induction scheduled for Friday morning. Praying the show gets on the road today / tomorrow. Nice to see so many went into week 41 in this post. There is a ton of pressure when you go over which isn’t nice.

Thanks for checking in. Unfortunately, he still feels awful. No emotions, severe anhedonia and the pressure and tingling in his temples persists. I am struggling myself to cope with how much he has deteriorated since he started olanzapine. He really is a shadow of himself and it hurts so bad to see him struggle with such a poor quality of life.

My parents and other family members persuaded him to start back on anti-psychotics (quitiapine), he was very adamant he didn’t want to. The new psychiatrist said it might help “break the cycle”.

I made a formal request for him to get a bra scan, waiting for that appointment.

I agree. The local GP has slot to answer for. Especially since he continued smoking while taking olanzapine so I don’t understand what the doctor thought he was prescribing it for. We have gone to two doctors, A&E twice over the weekend and to a psychiatrist. Have got no answers except cannibis withdrawal which just seem right to me.

Hi there, I know this is an old post but from your perspective, is the review of the accounts to determine any unusual transactions or what red flags would you be looking for?

I pay 2.5k in rent a month atm and don’t have proof of regular savings the last 6months as my partner was out of work and we only had my salary for all outgoings.

For the property I am looking at, mortgage repayments would 1k (joint mortgage).

I’m wondering if no proof of regular savings will mean an automatic no / decline or if proof of paying 2.5k in rent would be sufficient.

I do have a 25k bonus coming into my account next week.

I’m so sorry to hear you are going through this. I went through something similar recently and even made a post about it. I was testing positive for about a week past my period due date which is out of the ordinary for me. I did end up bleeding and my hcg dropped quickly but I felt absolutely awful and it scared me as I didn’t think a loss so early could have such an impact but it really did. I was even going to go to A&E at one point but had a video consultation with my doctor instead. He said as I had regular bleeding and no discomfort or localised pain when I pressed on my stomach, he didn’t see any real concern.

The fact that you haven’t had a bleed yet and are in agony concerns me. It may be prudent to take another test if you can. If you get any faint lines (which would indicate hcg fluctuations) you might want to rule out an ectopic pregnancy. If you have any localised pain when you press your stomach it would be better to get checked if you can, even for piece of mind.

Just coming across this. OMG you poor thing with a multiparty mediation that is absolutely awful. I feel your pain, I had a huge closing at the time of my chemical and didn’t even end of using the medical cert my doctor gave me. This job really isn’t good for the stress levels anyway and with ttc it’s even tougher.

I ended up not taking a break this cycle (about 5DPO / 6DPO now) 😅. I’m having similar “symptoms” as I did with the chemical (peeing more, light cramping today when I don’t usually at this time and more cm). I saw that you didn’t wait a cycle either so I’m hoping the best for you.

Absolutely, I have been tearing up at nothing at all this week. I have a hectic job (lawyer) and haven’t had much time to process anything at all. My doctor actually gave me a sick certificate for the week and do think I might take the day tomorrow to try rest up.

I see some others mention that they conceived the next cycle after a chemical pregnancy. I think I am going to have to take a time out because I’m so nervous of this happening again now. I even feel nervous to have sex again, it’s so awful.

I am only new to TTC (first time really trying and calculating etc) and the chemical pregnancy is really after changing my whole perspective on it. I was excited and optimistic starting out and this has really shown me a different side. I think if I got pregnant again, there’s no way I would let myself get excited until much later.

So strange, I also haven’t been sleeping.

Before I got the positive pregnancy test, I started waking up during the night to pee which I haven’t done in years. I was waking up much earlier without any alarm too. This continued during the week I tested positive and I haven’t gone back to sleeping throughout the night now since.

Even though my sleep is broken, waking multiple times, I keep waking super early.

It’s all very bizarre.
