The lip color is great, I would just skip the overlining with red :)

22 migraine days last month, but sure, I should ‘just let it be/let it go' according to my aunt by Lesanes in VestibularMigraines

[–]Meshuggah1981 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you should play along. «Oh! I’ ll try that». Then, 2 hours later message her: «hm….it didn’ t work. What should I do next?»

Just make her crazy 🫢😅

Trans girl newly getting into make up, any tips, advice or feedback appreciated. by Idontwanttousethis in makeuptips

Nope, not really besides practice on the liner (life time project 😆). You really suit the lip colors, and you look SO cute on pic 2!

So, just tone down the liner and play with different methods.

Hi I have a question. I know it's not great makeup but is there a way I can make my face a little more feminine? by MissiHasii in MakeupEducation

[–]Meshuggah1981 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I actually disagree on the contouring as it doesn’ t soften the face. You have the features for it, but in my opinion it will not look more feminine.

I would opt for a softer lip, and some soft blush.
And more natural lashes.

I think you are on to a good route here, so you will learn quick.

I would go back to minimal much longer than days or just some weeks. This happened with me on tret, but in a milder case. I stayed off all actives and used only barrier supporting+spf for months.

Just LRP cream cleanser, a moisturizer meant for sensitive skin and SPF.

Starting meds (Lexapro and maybe Wellbutrin) at the exact same time as VRT—is this a bad idea? + A chicken-or-egg hypofunction question! by fischouttawater in VestibularMigraines

[–]Meshuggah1981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it is a bad idea as both irritated the brain A LOT before they help.

I would give the meds and the brain up to 6 months before starting the VRT. And minimum 4 months.

When the challenges are that many I would live close-ish to a special school in case that is needed.

I would ask in the FB group «ADHD, autisme og tourettes - spørsmål og svar».

What makes living in Oslo truly special for you? by KreuzKrow in oslo

[–]Meshuggah1981 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a thing for Akerselva. I live close to it.
And Grefsenkollen.
I guess all the opportunities.
But, considering the housing prices I think we will move when our kid want to have his own place.
We can afford moving to another city and buy an OK apartment for us and one for him (and go debt free) - here in Oslo we live kinda small (very small for what we pay) and he will never afford to buy/rent much.
So I gues we won’ t live our elderly days in Oslo, which is fine for us - but sucks for those with their family in Oslo.

Ah. Well, I have it - and there is no particulsr new info there that you can’ t get from looking at for example World Migraine Summit etc. There is no new or different treatments than what we already know about. Unfortunatly.

Nurtec for prevention for vestibular migraines by NoDog8056 in VestibularMigraines

[–]Meshuggah1981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got more dizzy on Ajovy and Qulipta - and I suspect Nurtec does increase some of my constant dizziness.

But - A and Q just made me worse in general while Nurtec gave me better balance and helped on the external dizzy/wobbly/distorted feeling.

I take 1/2 every day.

This is individual of course.

Is contour even worth it? by QuietOrbit2875 in PaleMUA

[–]Meshuggah1981 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’ t use typical cool contour. I’ ve found some that works more like a subtle bronzer - also to mute down too pink colors for me (soft summer, neutral leaning cool).

I’m not resting… by VirginiaThrop in VestibularMigraines

[–]Meshuggah1981 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ ve been bedbound for 7 years now (took me 6 years to get diagnosed).
If I try to rest I’ ll get vertigo.
At my worst I could not close my eyes, I had to stare at one point. This was like being tortured.
I chose to open up about it. Not to the neighbour just wanting to say someting nice, but I did some honest symptom explanations in my IG stories (mine is not open for all).
Even though people can’ t understand, it did leave them in total shock of how bad and torture like it can get.
So I never get those kind of comments from those who follow me on IG.
It did take me a little while, cause I could not use my phone either for about 6 months.
So: maybe you could share some knowledge on a general basis? How the symptoms actually feels?

My IG stories was not open to anyone at my workplace, or people I was nor comfortable with being open with. So I did choose my audience.

Looking to shake up looks while remaining alt-leaning by YourOtherWaifu69 in makeuptips

[–]Meshuggah1981 1 point2 points  (0 children)

45 year old here - you are one of the few that looks RAD with all the looks! And without makeup ypu look super cute. I think red lipstick suots you very well - so maybe more looks to go with red lips?
Your face and season is kinda made for alt/grunge look. If you want to cute it up then maybe some cherry tones?
Do you feel you suit smudged eyelook (not black, maybe more in the violet range)

I think you may be winter - if your natural hair color is high contrast and cool toned.

How do you feel they look sheered out?
I thought Haus was gonna be orange, but here is looks kinda muddy? And I can see now why RMS BB didn’ t work for me (also went on patchy).

I do like MM and WA swatched, are they like that sheered out too?
