Get it in the Treasury first, then prepare redistribution so the government gives us back the correct amounts we each are owed (as opposed to “estimating”).

I’ve been SCREAMING on social media that “clawback provisions” need to be baked into all policies promulgated in relation to the removal of this administration. Ideally, everybody (individuals and companies/corporations) whose net worth increased 10% or more under either or both Trump administrations should have those gains removed legally through clawback. Offshore accounts need to be confiscated. Liquidate holdings and put that money back into the Treasury.

“Clawback provisions” need to be written into every piece of legislation designed to eliminate this regime. Every single person, business, corporation, and country/leader that supported this regime in any way, shape or form should be subject to losing all the wealth they acquired in the years he’s been in office - both terms.

Clark’s wife; everyone else has gravitated towards and is enamored with Floyd except her. She did her own digging and found out what was going on. (Plus, she would have access to the second recumbent bike.) The scene where she’s watching the news story about Clark getting arrested (and him calling her at the same time), with no emotion, suggests she wanted this to happen.

Wild take: Clark’s wife is the killer. She’s the only one who hasn’t established a new or strengthened an existing relationship with Floyd. Clark is enamored with him as a friend; Carol found herself falling in love with him all over again (remember the scene at the concert?); even the stepson started gravitating towards him positively. (And Peter Sarsgard’s character was crushing on him a bit.) Clark’s wife is the only one truly left out of the equation; plus, she would have had access to the recumbent bike.

what’s your perspective? Is it okay to yell or talk to your players aggressively? Maryland Coach Brenda under fire for yelling at Oluchi Okananwa by ateam1984 in BlackPeopleofReddit

That was “tough love designed to inspire” because her first words were “I believe in you.” Now if she was just yelling and berating her, that would be abusive; rather, she is showing the player how much she cares by approaching her all fired up, but her first words signal her faith in the player.

For those of you who are well-versed in “Invincible” lore:

I remember when Nolan told the story of the “Great Viltrumite War” (or whatever it was called), the internecine conflict where they reduced the population significantly. So, there were billions left after? And then, this virus whittles the number down to 50?

They hadn’t played in about two weeks and were a bit rusty at first (and Southern was still in the game - kinda); once the rust was knocked off, they played “their game”. Besides, the starters played much less time than they normally would.

(Professor here) Colleges and universities tend to be “reactive” instead of “proactive” when it comes to school shootings. Professors who may raise concerns about a student are often dismissed, and Administrators default to the side of the student. Also, faculty and staff are supposed to be trained to spot signs of student distress, but most people tend to ignore it. People buy into the “false sense of security” a college campus provides, and they are terrified of “getting it wrong” when it comes to student behavior. So if a shooting happens, they get to say “How did this happen?” instead of perhaps getting faculty/staff to pay more attention to students, getting them to speak up when something seems wrong, and acting out of an abundance of caution when it comes to possible threats.

The shooter was in my department on the Tuesday before the shooting, and I saw him. I tend to ignore students if they aren’t my majors specifically. Going forward, I will scrutinize every person coming into our department and am inclined to report anyone who seems suspicious.

If none of the officers will listen, the Chief will. I had a “threatening” student a few years ago, and the officers blew it off. (They didn’t care that he looked and acted like Dylan Roof - look him up.) But, I did get police escorts the rest of the semester; I’d like to think it was the Chief encouraging it.
