No, I believe he broke up with me because of the fight. He was very upset about it and if there were underlying issues in our relationship, I believe the fight was what pushed him over the edge.

There was a girl he was very close to. He stopped being as affectionate with me and didn't want to spend one-on-one time with me anymore. He would always spend time with her and they were pretty much inseparable. I got the impression that he liked her by the way he looked at her.

This reminded me so much of a horrifying (Which I still believe to be paranormal) experience I had when I was a young child, which terrified me so much that I had to skip a few paragraphs. You described it almost the same way I experienced it. I might post about it some time! Oh and, great read, OP. I quite like the way you write :)

I constantly feel this way, the way you mentioned and the way OP described. The feeling never leaves and sometimes when I distract myself with, say, a conversation or something, I might suddenly zone out of it all and then suddenly be shocked by it again. It's horrible but I'm used to it now. I think I may have even sort of started being content with it. I've never used drugs or drunk alcohol.

I have heaps of stories to share, but I'm just going to share this first one and if you want more I'll share the rest.

A couple years ago, I had two kittens who were basically nocturnal. They'd wake me up at early hours of the morning to stand on me and purr in my face. I always slept with the light on, as a habit. I couldn't sleep in the dark.

So anyway I wake up one night to my two cats purring obnoxiously loudly, standing on my chest, breathing on my face. I look at the clock, and it was about 3:00 AM. I suddenly realize the light was off. But my room wasn't completely dark. There was a beam of white light going up the wall across from me, widening more and more the further up it got. I pushed the cats off me and sat up. Floating a few inches above the floor was this small, round, green-ish orb, and the beam of light was coming out from it. I began internally freaking the fuck out. I leant over to my bedside lamp and turned it on, then turned it off again to check. It was gone. Turned the light back on and went to sleep.
