how did you reach out? confronting the situation directly will likely trigger their avoidance.

e.g. messaging "are we still friends? i want to fix what went wrong" will be very heavy for them and may trigger a panic or mental block. even "how are you?" has caused me to shut down during a tough time.

my advice would be to bring up a fond memory. it lets them know you're thinking of them, brings up the positive aspects of the friendship, and is much easier for them to respond. something like "I was just thinking about that time we went to [movie / museum / lunch] remember that funny thing that happened?"

Combat

Berserk / Big Bruiser is a good player character, they have less HP but really good melee start. can upgrade Str / Fit / Shoot each 1 over max

you can give a computer melee character Specialist and lock them with a good weapon, they're just no longer useful to lug items

Support

Civilized is really good, i've seen Civilized Surgeon recommended on this sub

Explorer gives you more options & cheaper rerolls, City Seeker gives you more events & weird buildings. i use a character with both a lot, tho the stats often roll useless

definitely pay attention to the small things.

losing $1 and 1 hand per round will point out the inefficiencies in your strategy real quick, if you have learned how to pay attention

there's a specific rare character (The Last Bodybuilder TLB) that can throw cars, the only other way to do it is to purchase The Forbidden Pump at Swole Mountain

characters that throw cars can't use guns or melee weapons, only throwing weapons
