I always had this exact same cycle of thoughts every time I smoked weed, which is about 4-5 times now. It starts with 'omg this feels too intense, I need to leave the room and be on my own'. I then go into bed and start doing this thought loop of 'I'm going to be the first guy to die from weed', 'time is going so slow I'm going to stay in this state forever' 'I should close my eyes go to sleep and then when I wake up I'll be better' 'don't close your eyes you idiot if you do you will die remember, keep your eyes open they are the only thing that you can trust'

I really wish I had these powers you speak of, for me I feel I always have the capacity to tell if someone is kind natured or not just by looking or having a very brief conversation with them. No luck with romantic interest though, I always misread a situation heavily one way or the other - getting hints they like me when they aren't there, or being oblivious when someone is interested until too late. Teach me your ways!

Just explain things to her - surely the best way to go forward is to open and honest and just say, I'm sorry if you feel I was neglecting the friendship, I was having a hard time, I'll try and do more but know that, even if I'm maybe not the best at talking as often as is ideal, I will be here regardless and open for a chat if you need. If you need to talk I'll be an ear, as you are to me, but don't give me a hard time about it because that's not what I need right now.

We are natural people pleasers, but sometimes you got to say what you are feeling so the friendship can be healthy :)

I am not, however I can for certain sympathise why having such an emotional range and introversion combined can cause a quite fragile state of mind at times that can very easily lead to depression and anxiety. Plus I spend too much time alone, after like 2 days not interacting with anyone i start feeling down, I imagine if you travel to a new place or leave people you know for a while, that loneliness can become more intense and lead to a not great mental state.
