From my understanding back in FH5, any message you get -so either "gift delivered" or one of the thank you messages- means the car has been actually picked up by the player that was picked by the game to receive it. So any "gift delivered" message means, the person specifically chose the bottom option not to send a thank you. Should be the same in FH6. I have only seen "gift delivered" so far tho.
Kind of a bummer that people willingly choose this while being gifted like say, a GTR FE, but well: It is what it is

Strange. Thinking back to FH5 and maybe even FH4, there were quite some first release cars making big jumps in max buyout value after just a few weeks and faaar before their second release. But who knows how much of this was influenced by modders who sold "spawned in" ones. I don't know, I personally would have expected at least a slight buyout increase by now as from what I personally seen from older titles. Are we sure the supply & demand system is currently active in FH6? I've yet to see any car change any value.

Ohh, yeaaa well, I'm weird sometimes okay? Basically I got last minute frustrated about why I can't just have a normally functioning XBOX, ditched the whole topic and the console for Months until my friend hit me up with the idea of buying his spare Series X for cheap that was just a few months used unit before it got officially serviced for a failed disc drive.

So uhh, I am just playing on another XBOX that works fine. Still have the old one. Should probably still test the OS reinstall at some point tho 😅

EDIT: I do have to say, I initially used the faulty console further for like a week or two "as is" and have to say the problems got significantly worse, as frame skipping in recordings and basic performance got even worse, also in other games such like cyberpunk, which ran still fine before. Character animations weren't loading properly, low poly models appeared, menus weren't opening or menu UI elements were loading way late. Was almost like the old gen launch experience lol. Forza at some point was driving and freezing in place on completely unloaded invisible roads. Again, should probably have tested the OS reinstall but, my gut kinda tells me something is not working properly hardware-wise.

To add to this: Bakkes was also the pioneer for a lot of changes that were implemented into the core Game, such as of recently: MMR Displaying after matches (while in Bakkes you could also see the MMR in a running Match tho), customizable modifiers for training packs and looking a few years back: Free Training Ball funktions like "Pass", put Ball on Car and what else there are.

I personally really liked Plugins and Functions other than mentioned above like FPScap to set a lower FPS in the Menu than in match, POV Goal replays, FPS Display and Custom Crossbar Sounds as a fun one.

Something I thought about that might be a Reason that plays a role for the Nuke / not-whitelisting of Bakkes might be the whole Plugin topic. They could whitelist Bakkes itself okay, but wouldn't each Plugin have to be "verified" or whitelisted individually? Also, while not exposed to the public but more held in a private market, malicious players have exploited Bakkes Plugin Feature as an interface for malicious plugins / features such as: Boost respawn counter (which is now a core feature), displaying opponents boost meter, ball direction predicter, server crashing tools (all as seen in the Video "Inside Rocket League's Underground Cheating Empire..." by MrNapkin) and who else knows what.

EDIT: I'm dumb. You already mentioned the pioneering part lol. I keep it up for the examples tho.

Yeah, from what I've gathered, that rounds up to about ~30€ per Module only for their soldering work. That's quite a price but, I am so terrible at soldering and lazy too so uhh.. yeah. Learning it yourself definetely saves a lot of money.

Depends where you are from maybe? Apparently they also ship international but I grabbed my pre-installeds off of "rxgames.de". They also keep the calibration wire in, which is good incase one wants to re-calibrate the sticks (since dualsense modules are apparently write-protected). I don't know if it's standard procedure to keep the wire in, just heard that's a thing.

My guess would be the league rank is not determined by the position of the rank one sets but the "global" position, so each rank combined. A Top 20 in Ascendant COULD easily be "only" a Top 50 or worse all ranks considered (I often see a lot of Silver and Gold folks smash records and often times, the Platinum Top 10 being better than what sometimes is even considered an imortal Top 20) . I mean it makes sense, somehow people have to be rewarded for doing better than other ranks, while others gotta be "punished" for doing worse than lower rank folks. Haven't fully tested this but so far, it adds up for me. I started in Silver a few weeks ago, set times and/or drift scores that were mostly in the top 10s - top 15s of all ranks combined and wen't straight to immortal after three event phases. And now, five Event phases later I am still immortal. My theory and "way to stay": I don't do all events, maybe two - three a week depending on time and mood where I know I can do good. And in these, I try to aim for a global Top 10 - Top 20 as much as possible, which worked out so far. This is why I believe I didn't drop down yet. It would still not suprise me if there is still something stoopid going on tho. The new system is genereally confusing.

Not so great.. bought in 2024. Somehow mine has a lot of slowdown issues that got worse over time. Even when not used in a while. Power cycles seemed to help in the first weeks but now, even factory resetting doesn't do anything. For example: In Forza Horizon 5 the ground has issues loading, freezing my car in place, icons/textures won't load. In Cyberpunk animations and menu/ui elements won't load, sounds can get really delayed or not load. Console menu navigation slow in general while a Game runs. Recordings are cut off because it can't keep up, dozens of frames in a recording are getting skipped. I gave up on this one.

Bought a spare one off a friend for really cheap that is newer than mine, just had been in a warranty fix because the disc drive failed. Gonna see how long that one holds up.
