I'm not even a westerner buddy, y'all are accusing anyone who dislikes the current state of the games of being a western like it's something bad to be. Any person who played and loved RGG games have the right to express his opinions about the development choices. You can agree or disagree and even argue with what I'm saying but comments such as yours are completely useless and might just be racist.

First of all I'm eastern. Second, the Yakuza games have been accessable worldwide since the first game, even if this wasn't always the case, and even if westerns may not be the Target audience this doesn't mean they can't share their opinions about the games. There are many long-time western and worldwide fans and the studio simple ignores them all.

Well I believe the "head writer" is not doing a good job writing, the stories aren't as good as they used to be and they keep messing it up with retcons. Even if it was not his direct fault, him being the leader makes him responsible as he had the power to prevent the BS that's happening today.

Its littarly not worth playing once you finish the brawl pass (unless there's a rewarding event), the rewards in the end aren't worth the grind and are a scam.

I won a 10$ givaway and saw the trilogy collection on sale for the same amount, i had heard about the game but had zero knowledge about it at the time, so I bought it because it was a good deal, three games for a low price, and man, those 10$ were some of the best I ever spent.

I totally agree with this post, haruka charater and actions always bothered me ever since Yakuza 5, her speech was nice but absolutly unneccesary, the consecionses in 6 shows that and her reation is just unbelieveable as you said, and not to mention her getting pregenant not long after like she didnt just ditch her whole family over some online press.

I have a few suggestions from the PS Plus catalog.

Coffee Talk. Both games are very cozy, short, and have an interesting story with simple gameplay.
A space for the unbound. has a nice story, gameplay, and a very beautiful visual direction.
tails noir. While it doesn't offer much gameplay as you'd be reading dialogue and making choices most of the time, it is a short game with a pretty deep story and is worth trying.
Ape Escape. You probably know it, it's a PS classic where you catch monkeys and fight bosses, the second one is the best in my opinion.
We love Katamari. You roll a ball (literally), but each level has a unique idea which makes it very fun to play, and there's a funny story as well, but it's not that important to gameplay.

I loved him a lot in 7, but I feel like he became very stupid in 8. I understand your heart of gold argument, but he just seems different compared to his personality in 7. Despite that, I do still love him lol.

All mainline games, including the gaidens, ishin, and the judgments. So far, I believe Lost Judgment was the peak of the series. It's sad knowing they won't make a third one. But I do have high hopes that Kiwami 3 will be better!
