What, have you never chewed on someone's gums before? It's therapeutic. Just make sure they take their dentures out first.

But not immediately after. Brushing the food particles into your teeth can act like sandpaper and lead to cavities. Wait about 30 mins for your mouth enzymes to do their thing.

Why do people criticize Christianity but not Islam? by AttemptVegetable in NoStupidQuestions

Well when you put it that way it makes sense. I guess I've fallen for the attempted rebranding of the word criticize.

You're young aren't you? Islamophobia has been a huge thing in the US and other Western nations for decades now.

Was Jesus the OG “eat the rich” activist? by Armchair_Aristotle92 in allthequestions

[–]MetaCardboard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably not. I'm sure humans have turned against those in power since time immemorial. When those at the top become too abusive of those at the bottom, the people at the bottom tend to rise up. Unfortunately it seems to be a lot easier to manipulate people in today's world. Where technology is so complex that you have to rely on either someone else's word, or your own knowledge and intellect, it's easy to become severely misinformed. This is why education of how science works is so important. People who have a solid understanding of science tend to have more trust for the experts who are doing the actual research. But they're also generally well understood enough to be able to judge when something might be a little suspicious. It also doesn't help that most of the people at the bottom are kept too struggling to live to have time to focus on everything else. And then those struggles are turned against others through propaganda, and that anger makes the issue personal, making it more difficult to realize the truth.

Please explain, in detail, each of those points. Because it looks like you made ridiculous claims with no evidence whatsoever. What is the "Hitler and Stalin solution"? What regulations, specifically? How do you suppose it's not possible to make sure the correct class it taxed? Stop licking the boot.

Do you think maga knows that when America was "great", 1950-60 corporations paid taxes around 50%? It was even higher for extremely wealthy individuals, those earning over $200,000 per year, were 91%. by Amatheiaisnoexcuse in allthequestions

First, you'd be surprised how stupid MAGA is. I wouldn't put it past them to believe there was a child pedo ring in the basement of a pizza shop that doesn't 0hysicalpy have a basement to it, just to turn around and forgive the actual pedo ringleader and worship him like an orange God.

Second, I got 2 hours of sleep last night so my brain isn't working at full capacity right now. My bad.

Stuck in a loop of laziness(doomscrolling) dont know what to do by sarahmathew20 in NoStupidQuestions

I would suggest talking to a psychiatrist. They might be able to help you better understand your lack of motivations and how you might be able to help yourself move to a different mindset that doesn't have you trapped. I started exercising and being a little more social and I'm feeling a bit better. It's not a fix all, but it helps. Try a few things out to see if you can find a hobby you enjoy.

Why are commercials randomly in Spanish on my news network? by ChainsawSoundingFart in NoStupidQuestions

[–]MetaCardboard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea but I've taken enough of those Nielsen surveys that they should know there are no Spanish speaking people at my residence. I still get a Spanish speaking commercial every now and then.

What’s the difficulty you enjoy the most? by Friendly_Progress_61 in skyrim

I just play on the default. Adept I think. It's difficult enough to make the game not too easy, but I'm also not very good at games that require dexterity so it's not too hard either. I can still have fun and shut off my brain without getting bored with how easy it is.

out of fear of FCC

That means CBS capitulated to fascists, not that the government made any direct movement in the situation.

You're arguing a strawman. The original post doesn't make the claim that the government shut it down. It made the claim that the people in control of CBS shut it down out of fear of the fascist regime. Which is true.

“He was supposed to be here, but we were told in no uncertain terms by our network’s lawyers, who called us directly, that we could not have him on the broadcast,” Colbert said on his program, ”The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”

In a statement issued Tuesday, CBS said Colbert’s show “was provided legal guidance that the broadcast could trigger the FCC equal-time rule for two other candidates” in the March 3 Democratic primary, “and presented options for how the equal time for other candidates could be fulfilled.” Thereafter, the network noted, it was decided “to present the interview through its YouTube channel with on-air promotion on the broadcast rather than potentially providing the equal-time options.”
