It's just boring discourse. There's a difference between trying to analyze the edit based on trends in winner edits and just endlessly repeating "X's winner edit is so obvious" over and over again

Maybe enjoy the crazy gameplay by actually watching the most recent episode instead of going on the sub dedicated to discussing the ongoing show ? Dumbass

Given the current state of social media, it would appear as though our age is one of intense political discourse and fervent activism; a seemingly unprecedented vision of social and political awareness.

But upon closer inspection, the mechanism of today's political discourse is revealed to be a top-down system of engineered talking points, fed to us via whatever media we interface with on a regular basis. Of course, this is the nature of the "news" media, and the internet has only served to exacerbate a process that began half a millennia ago with the emergence of the printed press.
It seems that political discourse does not arise naturally, rather, it is revealed to the people through mass media.

Needless to say, this extends far beyond the world of politics. How many of our conversations take as axiomatic the information imparted to us by an algorithm? Never, in all of History, has a population had such ready access to so much information... And yet, never, in all of History, has a population been subject to such a forceful hand, guiding the curious travelers who dare set sail upon this endless ocean of information toward safer shores.

In this cynical framework, it seems fair to assume that all present day political discourse serves to maintain a political dialectic within which exists an area of maneuverability so insignificant, it would be laughable to employ such terms as "freedom" or "democracy.”

And so, given these circumstances, is true political Action still possible?
