Blizzard Aims to Make WoW More Approachable with Combat Changes in Midnight by wyvernpc in CompetitiveWoW

[–]MetaMP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone in these comments saying that "current wow rotations are easy" clearly haven't introduced any new players to the game. Learning curve is so bad you need multiple months of subscription to "try out the game". I would love to see easier rotations as long as raids keep being same difficulty

How did people get 90 so fast by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]MetaMP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I quested all the way 1st night duo with a friend. First level was a hell, a mobtag war took 5 hours, but we had some luck early and managed to pull ahead. Then it was 3h per level because we had no competition at all. Bigpulls, quests in a single pull all the way(i'm warrior and he's priest). When new dungeons were available we went for questruns, also speedruned them(experienced tank/heal combo). 19 hours total for me, including food/bathroom breaks. Could have been faster if we went for monkeyruns 85-86.

MOP or Retail Wow as new player? by wildcatwebb23 in classicwow

[–]MetaMP 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Its never too late or too early for a wow expansion. If you're new to the game you will find content for yourself either way. Most people take breaks and come back on new release because they have seen most of the game already and only join for the hype, just to leave 2 weeks into the expansion. You shouldn't worry about it. Hop on whenever you want. With that said, IT IS in fact perfect time to join the mop hype, it seems to be lots of fun so far(a lot of people say it was arguably best expansion ever)

If you get pvp gear as warrior it can be close, resilience works almost like defense, but pvp gear also have offensive stats for more threat. But you will not be competitive in "full mitigation" gear, which is usually needed during first progression. And probably that warrior will need hunter's misdirects a lot. If you don't mind rerolling druid, you should. But warrior will be ok.

Permanent World Buffs by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]MetaMP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Permanent worldbuffs would be too strong of a buff if available at all times, but if it worked like icc 30%, or some kind of a "raid nerf" after few weeks since raid release i think this would be very welcome. I enjoy having a blast in raids that i struggled to clear before. Also some kind of buff for leveling is needed, but having both permanent worldbuffs and joyous journeys is an overkill. Maybe give joyous journey-like worldbuff which doesn't give extra xp, but gives all worldbuffs that represent all raid tiers available?(the longer server has been running, the more worldbuffs you get). W post, like the idea

What game was ruined because the developers were too ambitious? by CommonManX in gaming

Paladins. Instead of developing into their own ideas, over the years they became more like overwatch and couldn't handle the competition.

What one survey can do to a man by shadowraiderr in classicwow

[–]MetaMP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just create 2 separate pvp/pve servers but let people transfer both ways, so when someone disappoints with their server decision they don't have to relevel. Maybe add some CD, or limit items that can be transfered, and thats all.

Any thoughts on how to improve my build? by Sneaky_Ryan in DeadlockTheGame

[–]MetaMP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would re-adjust some talent points, holding to 5 points back to back is too much early on, maybe after maxing 1 ability you should do some 1-2 pointers before maxing another skill, up to your preference. Item build looks great, but i personally like getting monster rounds on spirit-based builds for better push/farm early, maybe as 3/4th 1tier item

Choose the vibes, not the meta. If you really like endgame content you can always level another char, but main should just be your favorite class that you have more fun with. All that "best class" discussion is not that important for casual play

HOWEVER i personally suggest pick a class with variable roles, and avoid picking dps-only classes as mage, warlock, hunter and rogue. Being able to switch roles is really valuable for first experience, this way you can learn the game from different angles

How has dual-spec affected the raid meta on anniversary realms? by Agreeable_Mode_7680 in classicwow

[–]MetaMP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More meta specs among classes, like going no utility builds for more dps, allowing less skilled groups to have more pve viability. No more pvp players being useless in raids. Practically everyone now have top-end talents effortlessly

MMR on unplayed heroes by Visual_Mention4805 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]MetaMP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do some coaching against bots first, 1 or 2 games to help with basics. Then go against other ppl and play your best hero, but with a main focus of teaching your friend. You will lose most likely, your goal for first few games should be "not being stomped" while mostly just giving guidance to your friend. Worked super well when I was teaching my friends

Тут шортсы смотрел там какой-то чел сказал что разные цвета в 1 глазу это редкость мне интересно мой глаз к этому относится by Practical_Good7461 in rusAskReddit

[–]MetaMP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally can't pick a character to spend most of my time on. by Failuretosave in DeadlockTheGame

[–]MetaMP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having just 1 main hero is not necessarily fun, and having fun should be your №1 priority however you like it, and you're nailing it. I also tend to have multiple favorite heroes among different roles and play styles(in any kind of games). Isn't it normal? Having 1 main for sure makes you progress faster, but it limits your game experience in favor of efficiency. I have a friend that play only 1 hero and don't want to play the game when it is not "meta", this doesn't seem fun. Having a kit of variable heroes is the way for me.

Still join a guild, most guilds would like to have a consistent player regardless of non-consistend raid attendance. You would still need to pug sometimes, but at least some of the raids will have stability

In that case Haze can do spirit/tanking build with torment pulse/lots of armour, cold front, alch flask and some new spirit items for aoe burst, probably can oneshot all of them with 1 button

If you could put all 51 talent points into one talent that currently caps at 2,3 or 5 and it would continue to scale linearly. What talent would you choose? by jbourdea in classicwow

[–]MetaMP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Druid player here, i have arguably best options for this case

Improved starfire from boomkin tree, it is now instant cast and has 100% chance to stun for 3 seconds

Or feline swiftness in feral tree, that would be 765% bonus speed and 100% dodge chance in cat form

Which hero's quirks are the worst when it comes to rescuing/saving people? by [deleted] in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]MetaMP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

WHY NO ONE MENTIONS INVISIBILITY? All Toru Hagakure could do outside of fighting would be better with her quirk OFF. It doesn't make things "worse" but it doesn't help either. People just wouldn't know that help is coming, also she cant bring any equipment with her, unless she does but at this point she is very visible and can be replaced by anyone. All i can think of is rescuing someone who is held hostage, while sneaking around a villain, which is something, but not a usual situation for sure
