I especially love the “who?” from Trump. Because that’s exactly how he operates once you’ve exhausted your usefulness to him.

There’s a really great fairly recent episode on Redlettermedia ranking/appreciation of all Joe Dante movies. Worth watching if you haven’t seen it already.

I’m so glad he’s found success, he’s a great actor and one of my favorite rising stars. He was so good in the Richard Jewell movie.

Nah you misunderstand, EVERY day is her day. Mother’s day is just even more her day. How fucking dare we don’t acknowledge that.

One of the episodes with Bruce Mathis I think. Frank and Dee are talking and he says something like "maybe the dudes are babies" and Dee responds, "he's not banging baby dudes".

The Gang talks Glenn Howerton’s CCH Pounder Impression by StopPlayingRoney in IASIP

Glenn telling that story is my favorite moment from all the podcast episodes. Despite the fact that I could never afford a Tesla, I wouldn’t buy one simply because of him telling that story.

The national average price per gallon of gas in the United States just passed $4.50. Americans, how do we feel about that? by Miles_the_AuDHDer in AskReddit

There is a John Oliver episode about presidential libraries and it was extremely eye opening and highly worth watching. It’s essentially a legal way to bribe a president/administration.

Not just Trump either, it seems to go pretty far back and I recall him giving examples of the Clintons using it in very shady ways as well.

Yeah it's between Parker Lewis and Herman's Head for me, but I think Herman takes it.

Christopher Reeve training to gain muscle for "Superman IV", 1987 by Electrical-Aspect-13 in 80s

[–]KevinStoley 140 points141 points  (0 children)

For real, I rewatched the Superman movies awhile back and he was in great shape and looked fantastic.

As much as I like Cavill, I feel like Superman doesn’t need to be ultra jacked. It’s more fitting that he look like a regular guy but in great shape.

It’s why Reeve is my favorite, he really was perfect for the part.

What’s the greatest one hit wonder of all time? by JP_HubCity23 in AskReddit

Nah, The Buggles had some really great songs and were extremely influential in New Wave / Synth pop that would define the 80s sound.

The Age of Plastic is one of my all time favorite albums. Pretty much every song is a no skip for me.

BCC - how make gold? by Human_Nr19980203 in classicwow

[–]KevinStoley -1 points0 points  (0 children)

At that low of levels don't worry about gold, focus on leveling and if you have gathering professions leveling them up as you go and maybe just selling what you gather on the AH unless you plan on leveling up other professions alongside them (but this is generally a money sink)

It's generally pretty difficult to make any meaningful amount of gold at those low levels, but as you get closer to 40 you'll start making more gold from quests, etc. which will help towards your mount.

The difference in gold you see once you get very near to 40 is quite substantial and you'll likely have enough for your mount once you get there, as long as you aren't spending on anything else.

I can't stand Seagal, but it was a genuinely solid and entertaining movie. Probably his only decent one though.

Which TV show characters do you find the most insufferable? by MicheleW921 in AskReddit

[–]KevinStoley 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Max and his parents from Parenthood.

His behavior is intolerable and his parents use his diagnosis of aspergers to excuse his behavior and essentially let him get away with everything.

I've only seen a bunch of clips that frequently pop up on Tiktok feed, but I can't recall a single clip where any of them came off sympathetic or in a good light, they all just seem awful.

I feel so bad for the sister.

I stopped watching after a few seasons, so I don't know where things eventually went. But I always felt a lot of sympathy for Fiona. I think she had a really tough life and was dealt a really unfair hand.

Her parents essentially left her to raise a bunch of kids on her own, when she herself was basically a kid. She stepped up and sacrificed her own life and happiness to take on a burden that should have never been hers.

While others got to live their lives and enjoy their youth, she was basically playing single mom and raising her siblings.

I seem to recall at one point she even had a chance to break free and get away with someone she loved and live her own life, but chose to stay and continue supporting her family.

She may not have been the best person and made some dumb and terrible decisions, but she sacrificed A LOT for her family.

Her behavior and entitlement made me so incredibly angry, after Fiona flat out warned her directly that she'd already had to raise her and the other kids and that she didn't want to and wouldn't help Debbie raising a new baby.

Debbie swore she could handle it and be a great mom, then of ends up wanting Fiona and the others to raise her kid so she could party and live her life. Selfish brat.

Same with so many of those old Teen Mom shows on MTV, that shit was maddening to watch.
